Summary
Law never asked to be thrown into the world of drug trafficking at such a young age, but as a traumatized orphan threatened with homelessness in the unforgiving streets of New York, he had very little choice in the matter. It was hard, but eventually, he escaped with only his life intact and a long-forgotten dream of being a doctor.
That was the past. Now, he's content with his life as a new emergency physician at New World Hospital, Boston. He drifts between work and home, with minimal social interaction (just like he likes it). Summary
Maybe it’s the grief being suppressed that distracts Luffy. Law should be more empathetic about it.
Instead, she walks forward and gently grips Luffy by the jaw, pulling him out of his daze. He blinks down at her in confusion, but doesn’t leave her touch. Leaning in, Law brushes her painted lips against Luffy’s ear, keeping her voice low as she drawls, “Why are you here, Straw Hat-ya?”
“You.”
