"He really doesn't like me that much." Sirius sighed as he closed down the message app only to open it up again. It didn't have the effect he wanted as he found no new messages. "See? It's been a whole five minutes and nothing."
"Right." James smacked his lips before he gave a look to Regulus across the table that Sirius decided to ignore. "And you're not obsessed either?"
"What?" Sirius looked up, his eyebrows furrowing. "I am no such thing."
His phone dinged that second. Sirius's heart skipped as he stared down at his phone.
"Clearly." Evan snorted. Sirius caught the way he elbowed James in the corner of his eye, but he couldn't care less, he had a new message from Remus.

After the figure skating finals, life fell back into some sort of normal except that Sirius had gotten the number of silver medalist Remus Lupin. Meanwhile, Evan finds himself forced into situations he'd rather avoid from his new friendship. All while Remus and Barty navigate their own shifting realities.
