Summary
Set a few months after the end of Tears of the Kingdom, Zelda and Link have settled back into ordinary life in Hateno Village. Link has been behaving strangely, and at some point before Zelda was restored to (mostly) Hylian form, he took to wearing heavy cloth that obscured his entire body.
Then Zelda hears a rumor from a hunter, that this hunter spotted a Zonai while out on a recent expedition. Zelda drags Link to go investigating, only to find out that Link's body has been changed, and he (more correctly, she) was the one that hunter spotted.
Follow along to see how they adjust to this new way of living, as Link assumes a new identity in Hateno Village and goes by the name of Marin. Will Marin and Zelda find a way to restore Marin's body? Do either of them even want Marin back to the way she was?Series

Summary
Link and Zelda make their way down into the forgotten bowels of Hyrule Castle, hunting down the source of the strange Malice sickness that'd been plaguing those trying to restore Hyrule's central capital. While down there, they encounter a horrific sight, and are soon separated once more. Link's arm is damaged beyond repair, and Zelda vanishes after coming in contact with a mysterious stone.
Saved by a strange and mysterious being, Link awakens in an unknown place, finding that his arm has been miraculously healed... but the changes brought forth by the process are perhaps more than he could have ever anticipated. The awakening of an ancient, forgotten lineage. Hidden away within his blood, dormant, has now come to fruition.
Will Link learn to control his newfound powers? Most certainly. But will he and those around him come to accept him in this new, strangely fluffy form? only Time will tell...

The couple now dealing with being brought back to life, Sonia dealing with her not so Hylian body, and Link with his slowly diminishing Hylianity, will they be able to fight Gannondorf before it's too late?An AU I came up with on Tumblr that has begun evolving into an actual fic, the first two chapters are direct copy-pastes from the tumblr posts so suffer a bit in length.

The second path is both the most well-traveled and the darkest. Broken people often do not know how to lead, nor care to learn. They want to be powerful, so no one can hurt them again. And in The Gray Planet's caverns, all that takes is a little intellect and a little brutality. After all... Hope is a Disease and Fear is a Cure. If it worked for the Coats... it will work for them.
This story will follow the events on The Gray Planet concurrently with those of Operation: Known Casualties, my other fiction in this series. We pick up just after the events of Known Casualties Chapter 6: Lies.
