The Valkyrie Brunnhilde steps carefully through a sea of small children. They are Ljós-Alfar, the Bright Elves, and most of them are no taller than her waist. They are more excited than scared. This woodland is their home, familiar to them as their names.

Scrapper-142 was in the palace—the old one—when the shouting began. She was in a booth and was not very sober, so she could ignore it for a while. She kept her eyes closed, her head nodding over her bottle, but she could still hear the voices and the footsteps, all running in one direction. The muzak was still playing though, a tinkly little tune: it needed more of a beat.

Summary
After rewatching most of the MCU films and the Loki first series, my brain attempted to reconcile all the versions of Loki we saw on film and TV. These three novellas are as close as I got.
Loki on Asgard considers Loki's childhood and youth prior to the events of Thor (2011). Loki on Sakaar considers the years between Thor and Infinity War: as such, it is both a celebration and a farewell to the regrettably brief life of that Loki. Loki on Earth imagines how the Loki of the TV series might integrate back into the main timeline, my attempt to imagine a better future.
The novellas are canon-compliant (for now) and self-consistent, but they don’t have to be read in sequence to make sense.

Summary
I don't have anywhere near as much Loki fic finished or posted as what I've actually planned or written, but it's practically all I'm talking about or writing right now, so I wanted to set this up because I'm anal and I like organizing things, and in case anyone's mostly interested in following that stuff specifically. (Not that I'm prolific enough to make anyone worry about getting notifications for loads of non-MCU fic anyway, if that's what you're here for.) So far, nearly all of these are standalone oneshots, not related except for character focus and general theme, and they're arranged more or less in descending chronological order.
