“Just an interview would be good,” Peter said, clearing his throat. “I’m mostly a photographer, not sure I’ve got the interrogator qualifications.”
“Photographer, hmmm. . .well, I can definitely think of a few things you could take a picture of -” Deadpool started, then stopped, lenses narrowing. “Wait a flaming hot second. Peter Parker? Why does that name sound familiar?”
Peter tensed. Had someone figured out Spiderman’s secret identity and sicced a mercenary on him to try and catch him when he wasn’t in costume?
As Peter began to spiral, Deadpool glanced down at the newspaper in his lap, looking at the front page cover. He squinted, pulled the paper closer to his face, and then let out an auditory gasp.
“Holy shit balls, you’re the guy who takes all those hot pictures of Spiderman!”
“Excuse me?” Peter said, torn between relief and confusion.

or, Peter has to interview Deadpool, which quickly spirals into him being offered an obscene amount of money to sell Deadpool pictures of Spiderman. Between keeping up his secret identity, Deadpool’s flirting, and a growing mob threat, Peter quickly gets in over his head.

Summary
Maybe hitting his head was the catalyst to the situation; after all, Dr. Cho never mentioned any psychological effects from the arm injury. Maybe when he hit his head on the way down, or when brick and concrete crushed him like a bug, it shook loose all the bad memories from their designated “do not look at, touch, or think about” section in his mind.
Maybe that's why his mind shoves memory after memory down his throat, relentlessly forcing him to relive a past he'd rather not touch.

In the wake of a severe injury, Peter is forced to put down the mask for a bit, which is fine! Totally fine. He could use a break from vigilanteism. He’s a busy PhD student, you know? But when the reality of what Peter’s seen and done during his run as Spider-Man suddenly starts to catch up to him during that break, it becomes increasingly evident that Peter is not as unaffected by vigilanteism he’d like to believe.
While being relentlessly bullied by life itself, and accidentally becoming the roommate of a certain red-clad mercenary he’s been trying to shake, Peter has to eventually come to terms with the fact that something has to change, soon.

Summary
Peter's life has never been any semblance of stability, especially after taking up the position of New York's friendly neighborhood Spiderman. Now it seems to have calmed down for the most part. He is in his last year at MIT along with somehow managing a demanding position at Stark Industries and crime rates have lowered significantly in the past year. For the time being it seems like the series of unfortunate events he calls a life has settled.
That was, until he noticed a hooded figure, sporting some fairly nasty facial scars, skulking around his campus at random times. A new anti-hero has also made himself at home in New York, accompanied by a substantial outbreak of unsolved murders, which the masked man claims he has nothing to do with, despite his extensive body count.
If there even is a god, he sure has taken a liking to making Peter's life a living hell. One that takes the unfortunate form of an unkillable mercenary with twitchy trigger fingers.

Peter Parker's life doesn't need an influx of new, distinctly spidery Spider-Man powers. He would gladly spend the rest of his days not creating tiny spiders from nowhere, for example. Like, in a, "yes please, I'll take two orders of the 'no spider-parenthood lifestyle,' hold the whip" kind of way. And that's only the start of how certifiably nuts his life has gotten lately.
But... okay, the spiders are pretty cute. And the other powers, well, aren't horrible. He supposes. And if Deadpool seems to think his new spidery skills are great and interesting and hot (which is weird, but not as objectionable as Peter would expect), that's... that's not so horrible, either.
Alternatively: Peter's powers are a joke, he's broke, and his love life... isn't all that DOA.

Edgar Lascombe, supreme leader of Hydra, planned to unleash a radioactive bomb on New York City that would kill thousands. Thanks only to Spider-Man and Deadpool's intervention, they stopped it from happening— at the cost of being atomized themselves. Miraculously Peter survives, and now his body is beginning to change rapidly for reasons unbeknownst to him. Deadpool is presumed dead in the fallout, and Peter's hands are stained with the blood of thousands as his body mutilates with each passing day.
He's alone, confused, and angry. Peter intends to hunt down Lascombe with the only hope that he can undo whats been done— but Peter will soon realize the threads of his absurd plan extends far, far deeper than he could've ever dreamed.
What if his metamorphosis happened differently? What if Wade was there? What if Wade is also a monsterfucker? Love can sometimes take the most surreal forms. Even in horror, there can be beauty and connection beyond comprehension.
