Summary
Every profound spirit needs a mask; even more, around every profound spirit a mask is continually growing.
On Wall Street, everyone wears a mask. Ajax's is gilded—wealthy, brilliant and a little ruthless—the youngest Vice President of Snezhnaya Group and the envy of men twice his age. But beneath the polish lies Tartaglia: the murderous creature born in frozen Leningrad and buried beneath years of performance and starvation.
Then he meets Zhongli, the untouchable chairman of a rival firm. He is irrevocably handsome, utterly composed, absolutely revered without even trying to be. Ajax’s fascination festers. He wants him. He wants to be him. He wants to crawl beneath his skin, wear his calm like a second face, and feel what it’s like to be adored without effort.
To love Zhongli is to envy him.
To envy him is to become him.And as the bodies around Zhongli begin to appear in the forms of his secretaries, partners, and friends, Ajax must confront the most terrifying possibility of all.
Perhaps the mask has slipped. Perhaps Ajax is a killer.

Summary
As darkness finally fell, the stars emerged—but they were not the stars Alfred knew from his studies of celestial navigation. These were brighter, closer somehow, arranged in constellations that matched no astronomical chart he had ever seen. And among them, low on the western horizon, shone a single light that was not a star at all—a steady, unwavering radiance that called to mind the descriptions of the Silmaril bound to the brow of Eärendil.
"Turn back," a voice murmured. "This path is not for you, Child of Men. Return to your own shores while you still may."
"No," Alfred shouted into the howling wind. "I will not turn back. Not until I find him."
"He is beyond your reaching," the voice replied, its tone neither cruel nor kind, simply stating a fact as immutable as the laws of nature. "The circles of your world and his no longer intersect. Such is the Gift of Ilúvatar to Men, and the Doom laid upon the Eldar."
"I reject that gift," Alfred cried, tears mingling with the rain on his face. "I reject that doom. There must be a way."

Summary
In a world where Middle-earth and Earth have established diplomatic and academic relations, Alfred Pierson, a doctoral student at Harvard specialising in cultural trauma studies, finds himself unexpectedly hosted by Glorfindel, a legendary elven warrior and visiting professor from Imladris. What begins as a practical housing arrangement evolves into something deeper as they navigate cultural differences, academic challenges, and growing feelings for each other...
"I have wanted this," Glorfindel admitted softly, "for longer than I should confess."
"How long?" Alfred asked, his fingers still entwined in golden strands, marvelling at being permitted such intimacy.
A smile touched Glorfindel's lips—not the reserved expression Alfred was accustomed to, but something warmer, more open. "Since the night you fell asleep in the living room while reading that treatise on Sindarin dialectical variations. You had notes scattered around you, and your glasses had slipped down your nose. You looked... perfectly human, in the most beautiful way."

"You fight as you do everything else, my love—with flair and passion that draws all eyes to you."
"While you move like water," Glorfindel countered, "flowing around your opponents, finding the path of least resistance. We complement each other, on the battlefield as in all things."
"We do," Ecthelion agreed, his expression softening. "Which is why we make such an effective team. Your light and my water, your passion and my precision—together, we are more than the sum of our parts."
Glorfindel nodded, feeling the truth of those words deep in his heart.
"And if we die," Glorfindel said lightly, "we'll be together in the halls. We'll meet again, right? If not here, then there."
Ecthelion smiled, though there was a tinge of sadness in his eyes that Glorfindel couldn't quite interpret. "Of course we will," he said softly. "If death can't take us, what can?"
Glorfindel pulled him closer, wrapping an arm around his shoulders. "Nothing," he declared with the certainty of one who has never known true loss. "Nothing in Arda could separate us now. Not death, not distance, not even the breaking of the world itself."

Summary
The historical isolation between Middle-earth and what scholars now term Modern Earth ended abruptly in 1883 when the British exploration vessel HMS Challenger penetrated what mariners had long called the "Impenetrable Mists" in the North Atlantic. Now, in the shadow of that merged reality, Alfred Pierson studies comparative literature at Harvard. He has no war to fight, no prophecy to fulfil. He lives quietly, precisely, turning his life into footnotes and argument. That changes when Glorfindel arrives as a visiting professor, half-shrouded in myth, entirely real.
Fallen Once and Fallen Twice is a series chronicling the unexpected relationship between a graduate student of modern texts and a warrior-poet whose death has already been written.
It's a passion project: equal parts love letter to Tolkien’s world and a quiet meditation on history, desire, and fantasy. Written with care, curiosity, and far too many references to obscure poetic forms!

Summary
A collection of stories about Glorfindel and Ecthelion--some soft, some sharp, some only a breath long. Most of them stand alone, but some are connected.
Anar and Ithil, sun and moon, warmth and cool shadow. Not always in order, not always in the same world, but always circling each other.

Summary
“I hope you don’t mind, it's simply elven way to be proud of your marriage” then he continued as if he hadn’t just dropped a bomb shell “however I endeavor to respect your cultural and personal preferences as best as possible”
The moment between them sizzled, Gimli felt himself as a kettle, quickly reaching his boiling point.
Then, as Legolas leaned forward to collect himself, and the tea, Gimli exploded “You’re married!?”
Legolas flinched slightly in reaction blinking down at him with large elf eyes, a small questioning smile worked its way onto his lips “what are you-” he stopped short, and as the realization dawned on him, he gave the tiniest “oh”
***
Legolas thought Gimli understood elven traditions regarding marriage and sex. Gimli does not. This is the story of what happens when an elf and a dwarf accidentally get married while in the middle of a giant war. Featuring a very exasperated human ranger. -
