The man shrugs, extracts one, places it into his mouth and picks his pen up again. He rubs crumbs onto the paper, then brushes them off onto the table. Kento’s jaw twitches. Silence descends upon them. Kento watches the man write in messy strokes, chuckle and grunt and sigh. He’s grading papers Kento realizes, moving through a hefty stack and staining the trailing edges of his cardigan in ink that’s slow to dry in the cool air.
“You teach?”
And Kento only wants to know because the work on the paper appears to be highly convoluted mathematical equations.
Blue eyes jump back up to him.
“I do. I teach theoretical quantum physics at the university and do a specialized course focussed solely on Hegel. If you’re interested I only teach it in the fall.” The man winks.
“You teach quantum physics?”
“Theoretical quantum physics, yeah,” the man smiles a little oddly at Kento, before he beams. “Do I not look the part?”
In which two men become linked regardless of the distance separating them.

"Sealed bottle of water, please and thank you~!" They say, with an easy grin on their face. Nanami raises an eyebrow. This person is certainly the first to order something so... plain. He reaches under the bar for it, and places the bottle on the bar. "Don't drink." They offer, without any prompting. "Gotta keep a clear head, y'know?"
"I'm sure." Kento nods. They laugh. "Your name?"
"Gojou Satoru, at your service." Satoru picks up the bottle. Kento watches him carefully check the seal before finally cracking it open and taking a long sip. As soon as he's done, and sets the bottle back on the counter, Kento watches him set the palm of his hand over the opening of the bottle and flash Kento another bright grin. "Let me know if you ever need anything, okay~?"

Ino’s eyes widen comically. “...w-what?”
The older man tilts his head in mock surprise. “Didn’t you know? Nanamin and I are dating.”
Gojo spreads a little white lie about him and Nanami being a thing.
Gojo subsequently realizes how hot Nanami is when he's livid.

“Satoru will take the mission from here.” He hears Suguru from behind the door, his voice devoid of any emotion, flat and almost soulless.
He doesn’t open the door, fingers only curling tighter against the metal. It’s clammy against his skin, and his palm grows cold. His other hand is clenched at his side, the soft curve of his nails digging into the tender flesh of his palm.
“Can’t we just leave everything to him from now on?" Nanami’s voice slips through the crack beneath the door, raspy, cold, empty; it speaks heavily on the loss he feels, but his words crawl before Satoru’s feet, choking him, ripping the air from his lungs, or whatever it was that has been keeping him standing this long.
“After all, he never cared about any of this in the first place. Why should we have to sacrifice our lives instead?”
Life is cruel and Nanami’s harsh words ring true.
