The council got the idea from that little shit-show your kid presented a month ago." another distasteful laugh left him, though this one was tainted with resent. "Turns out that trip wasn't for nothing, after all."
Lucifer's patience was growing thin. Through clenched teeth, he repeated "Who?"
Adam opened his mouth and stopped in that position for a moment. "Ah, shit. Lute," he turned towards her. "what was the name?"
