'Merlin, my friend. What –?'
'I need your help hiding a body.'
Every man in the antechamber froze, the silence thick and breathless. No one so much as moved as they all stared at the threshold, where the door stood ajar only a fraction, blocking them from view.
Yet it was Lancelot's reply, carried on the edge of a weary sigh, that made disbelief stutter in Arthur's chest.
'Again?'
******
A fragment of overheard conversation leads Arthur and his knights deep into the Darkling Woods, where the truth about Merlin's magic finally comes out.

Summary
In an effort to prepare against future attempts on Arthur's life, the knights are sharing their suggestions for ways to kill the king.
Merlin's been lucky enough to observe some experts (and idiots) in real-life attempts, so has his answer ready suspiciously fast.
Really, he's put a lot of thought into it.

Summary
Ealdor is a small, proud, gossipy town like any other.
When two knights stumble in with unfriendly company on their tails, they take up their swords to defend the town and her people.
A gallant gesture, truly, but this town’s alarmingly beautiful leader needs no help from knights in shining armour.
It does make for a good story, though.

Very interesting take on the relationship between Arthur and Merlin - because they aren't a master and servant, their dynamic is a little bit different from the show but still it's very much enjoyable.
Also, Gwain calling Merlin a Peasant King ^_^

Summary
"Luckily for us, we’ve recently discovered King Arthur was an avid letter writer. He was in close contact with many of his knights and nobles of the court. Most impressive, though, is the large collection of letters we’ve found between Arthur and one of his servants.”

Bookmarker's Notes
Truly heartbreaking. It's a piece of reality Merlin faces centuries after Arthur's death. Forced to remember and at the same time unable to forget, he looks for traces of his lover around him, constantly visiting a museum exhibition portraying him, because as inaccurate as it is, anger at whoever made it is better than the emptiness of a love long gone.
Because the truth is, he can't bring him back.

Summary
After being dosed with a truth potion? No, they're not.
“Who the fuck calls you Emrys?” Arthur asks, so clearly annoyed.
“People of magic. Druids, mostly, but I’ve heard it from fae and leaders of the old religion. Jesus fucking Christ--” he dissolves into hysterical laughter, rocking as far forward as his bonds will allow. “What is in this shit?”
