The beach here was nothing like the one back in the city. Instead of pale uniform sand, the ground was made up of tiny pebbles in varying shades of brown and deep red, each one turning darker and shinier as the waves rippled over them. He crouched down and scooped up a handful, letting them sift slowly through his fingers. Different, he thought, but no less beautiful. There were no concrete buildings crammed into the skyline, no rot hanging in the air, no rusting husks of automobiles half-swallowed by vines.
4C would have loved this place.
After a few quiet minutes, he walked back towards the boat. He pulled up their packs and Wifies’s katana, and turned back toward the shack. He would wake Spidey, and together they would figure out their next steps. Whatever he'd intended to say, however, died the second he pushed open the door.
or, now the city is gone, the road ahead is uncertain, and both Jonathan and Spidey must brave new dangers. Will they make it through the end of the world together? Can they navigate the apocalypse when consequences of past mistakes find them?

"These are Lomedy’s favorite kind of days.
The kind where nothing urgent or life-threatening happens, leaving him free to take care of his farmwork in peace. The kind where sunshine warms the earth without scorching it, falling across fields and skin alike as it paints everything in a soft golden glow. The kind with a light breeze that rustles through the grass and causes it to brush against his legs when he walks.
Tall grass sways gently around him now as he sits. He likes this spot, in the shade of an oak tree on a small hill overlooking the farm. It gives him a lovely view of his fields and animals while still being out of the way enough to feel separate.
From here he can see sprawling wheat fields, cows grazing peacefully in the sun, and the cluster of buildings at the edge of it all. Bittersweet in its loveliness, hard-won and not a life he takes for granted.
Right here, right now, he doesn’t think there’s anything in the entire server that could possibly ruin this moment.
'Ashen? Here, boy!'
Ugh. Nevermind."

It’s set after all the Mimic/Doppleganger stuff happened but doesn’t line up with any particular time either.
I lowkey kinda just wrote and went with the vibes so if it’s OOC I’m very sorry this is my first time writing TF!Legs—
Better summary: Doc expects that death will be the end to his story.
It isn’t.
Instead, he wakes in a world not his own, with faces both familiar and unfamiliar, but those he knows are not the ones who know him. He now must either find a way to return to Oakhurst, or decide if he may still be worth keeping around in this new place.

But after waking up on a shoreline with sand in his hair next to a grave with his own name written on it, 4C realizes that he is much too far away from any sort of home: and strangely enough, he wishes nothing more than to go back.

“Was I supposed to?” Rotation took his hands back, scratching his head. “I mean, she did say she doesn’t like celebrating it anymore, so.”
