Summary
Tang was… different, from most humans he had met. Not entirely unique, he wasn’t that different from others, but still. It had been a long time since he met someone who would talk back to him and tell him to “shut up and let me help you”. Reprimand him, him, for trying to leave the bed before his bones reset. Who took his sass with an unbelieving raised eyebrow and a “yes, I totally buy that” and even had the gall to toss food like pieces of candy into his open mouth when Macaque went on an angry rant just because he could. He knew all about him already and he didn’t take any of his bullshit.

Summary
Macaque's head spun. Everything was happening too fast, way too fast. Ever since Wukong's rise to fame, demons had crawled out of every dark corner, desperate to claim that glory for themselves. Some claimed they would defeat him, hoping to prove themselves worthy in some twisted contest. Until some fancy lion demon came in, talking about a ‘brotherhood’ and defeating heaven together. Yeah, right. Macaque thought the whole thing was a joke—who in their right mind would fall for that?
TLDR : Wukong forced Macaque into the brotherhood (Then had the audacity to get jealous when Macaque’s attention wasn’t solely on him anymore)

Macaque's hand instinctively rose to his his mouth, his entire being pivoting to face Azure fully. "This... you have Hanahaki Disease too?"
Macaque found no need for an explanation, for it was evident that this floral beauty did not belong to him. Azure extended the flower, the very one regurgitated by Macaque, and with delicate grace, Macaque accepted it.

The second time Wukong thinks Macaque looks beautiful is in the meadows, with flowers tucked inconspicuously into his hair by the other monkeys, his eyes fluttered shut, lashes brushing against his cheeks.

The author's way of taking LMK and twisting the plot just right to make the story go is so good. Besides the writing is really good and makes you want for more.
Also I loved the concept of the Sackled. Just for the Shackled, this fic should be read.
