Summary
Vampires SMP works that focus around my favourite roomates Scott and Shelby. They deal with a lot of trauma, and attempt to keep some semblence of order but also kindess between the vampires in Oakhurst. Many others will appear in these as well. After all, we have lots of trauma to choose from to write about. >:)

“Ha! I don’t just give things away for free, and I’m tired of being seen as a last option. Now that the beacons aren’t trapping us in Oakhurst, I’m done giving my fledglings a chance to run off.”
“Well, I’m not one of your fledglings, I’m still human.”
“You’re the one who decided to pretend you were my fledgling, now you’ve got to deal with the consequences. Both good and bad.” Scott’s eyes fade from red to blue, his pupils are still thin, keeping the expression from looking quite human, and his smile softens. “Come along now doctor, let’s explore this strange land we’ve found ourselves in.”
With that, Scott releases Legs and turns on his heel, walking out of the ruined factory. Leaving the metal door open as he disappears into the alley without looking back.

"Well, you wont have to wait long…" Legs said hoarsely, forcing a weak smile before coughing, the taste of blood coating his tongue.

"Pyro, dear." Scott shook his head. "It's not a difficult question. Just tell me-"
Before his sire could continue, Pyro did the worst thing he could do, the stupidest, most childish, and most immature response possible, the thing he'd done that had gotten him turned in the first place: he ran, bolting from the ballroom and into the daylight without another word.
Behind him, he heard Scott sigh, and then rush forward as well, chasing after him.

Summary
Scott is dead and his fledglings were all turned human. They all turned back except for a few kicking and screaming. Owen was turned back too. He's not taking to it like the Doctor thought he would. He's still pale. He's still hungry. But now he has no reason to keep going.
Scott is dead. Louis is dead. He lost the gift.
Yet a call from outside his window brings him hope. He hasn't felt hope since Scott died.Something goes wrong with the cure. Something the towns folk don't know how to help. Two of the ex-vampires are fine. The others... Well the others act like themselves but something is wrong. Owen in particular is a troubling case.

Summary
Pyro was changing.
Every change was a fracture, a loss. Every inch of his body that thirsted was an inch farther from the person he had been, from the life he had tried so hard to cling to.
He fell to his knees. His hands pressed to the stone floor, as if the earth could anchor him to the human world, to the man he used to be.“I do not want this,” he whispered, a raw, broken sound that echoed off the walls. The echo did not answer.
He had been normal. He’d had plans. He had a future. But now… now he wasn’t sure he could ever go back. He could still see the university campus in his mind, the familiar halls, his roommate. He could almost hear his professor’s voice in his head, asking about his thesis.
But that felt like another life now. One he would never get back.
He can’t go home.

Summary
Waking up from a 600-year long cursed sleep—and finding his manor and town completely destroyed—inspires a lot of feelings in Scott. Anger. Vengefulness. Annoyance. Hatred. Insatiable hunger for human flesh and blood.
But more than anything, he is reallyyyyyy tired.
Too tired to bother with an elaborate song and dance with the human intruders in Oakhurst.

Taking the idea that Pyro mentioned in stream, Vampires in the 1980s!!
--The small goodbye was over, Pyro giving Shelby a quick smile before carefully slinking out of the bush. No one was nearby, thank goodness, but he kept an edge to their steps along the gravel paths. He watched the blur of Shelby’s white hair disappear around the corner of the tavern quickly as they continued to the door.
One last check around, no observers as they opened the door.

"Ah—hey," Owen said, and Shelby turned, looking back at him. "So you're just content living here forever, then? You don't want to go out anywhere else?"
Shelby looked a little taken aback that he'd asked, stumbling a little through her words. "I mean, maybe—you know, if I live forever, I'd love to go and travel."
She grinned a little at the thought, moving to look down, away from him. She was just sort of like that, pleased at far-off notions and vague ideas of the future. Nothing jaded about her, not yet. It would be endearing if Owen didn't find himself so frustrated by it. She was going to get herself hurt, head in the clouds like that.
Before he could swallow his sentiment: "Where?"
Shelby paused, in the middle of fiddling with their skirt hem. "Where?"
Owen swallowed. His throat was dry. Why the hell was he asking about this? "Yes," he said. "Where would you go?"
or: if Shelby and Owen's mid-episode 6 conversation wasn't interrupted by Scott.

And yet he lowered himself to sit beside them.
Shelby looked over at him with one of those smiles that could never be faked, the kind that shines in the eyes, and Owen had to swallow down the bile climbing up his throat. He reached for the bottle and swallowed down another gulp."

Summary
Legundo is trying his best. He really, truly is. But it seems that there's always something happening. When the militia dragged a bearly conscious vampire to town, that's when things started to go down.
Pyro fumbled. They blamed it on a mix of panic, paranoia and stupidity. And perhaps also the damm water. He had been captured and now they could do nothing but stare up at the celling courting stone tiles. Perhaps bothering the doctor and anyone else who tried to approach him.
Avid was turned. Lost among the chaos of taking in a prisoner he finds himself looking for any guidance he can get. Regardless where it comes from.
Or: Pyro was captured by the townsfolk and is slowly going crazy from boredom while trying to stay loyal to his sire, Legundo tries his best to learn about vampires and the cure all while trying to convince Pyro to switch to their side, all without realizing Avid is getting snatched right from under their noses and that he need help.

Summary
Oakhurst was weird, and not a place Czeslaw would have ever been seen in the vicinity of when he had been alive. Dilapidated walls and buildings dotted the small interior of the town. The air felt stagnant in a way that a place surrounded by trees should not. The people here were stupid and insane, which, to be fair, meant Pyro fit right in. And since Czeslaw was stuck dogging Pyro’s heels he didn't have much choice but to rub shoulders with people that weren't worth licking the bottom of Czeslaw's incorporeal shoes.
Everyone gets a ghost! Au, but we only focus on Czeslaw! I'm sure this goes great for both him and Pyro.
