Dean knew it was all too good to be true. Sammy was back in town working his dream job. He even got Dean a cushy desk job at his firm. He had been reluctant to accept the job as a partner's assistant but it turns out he was pretty good at it. His boss was a bit strange but nice enough.
Sam's boss is a completely different story. Dean had hoped Alastair wouldn't recognize him. Dean had barely been fifteen the last time Dean had seen him. It was a lifetime ago. Back when he used to get fucked in dirty motel rooms to put food on the table for him and Sammy. But Alastair remembers and he's not about to let Dean forget.
