734 days. You'd been a prisoner, locked and hidden away in this solitary cell for over two years. Others there had committed petty crimes or made themselves an enemy of the Ultranationalists, and before them— the Soviet Union.
A majority of prisoners hadn't done anything wrong at all, though they were too poor, too educated, or simply too much of a threat to the regime. Anyone could have been in the cell next to yours for any reason. But you? You knew why you were expected to rot away there.
It was either die of disease or malnutrition in your cell, long forgotten by anyone who'd known your name, or be found by either side of the conflict and be killed. Death had called to you for a while; you didn't fear it. And you didn't fear the three, foreign operators when they broke through the door to your prison cell— or when the one with the skull mask held an assault rifle to your head.

“What Johnny?” Their eyes met and Ghost had his mask half pulled down over his mouth so he could sip at his drink, an easy smile that stretched the scars around his mouth. God Soap thought he was hot.
It was nearly distracting, jumbling his mind as he asked plainly, “can we be together?” Ghost nearly choked on his drink coughing a bit before staring wide eyed back at Soap.
“What? Us being together?”
“Aye,” Soap looked at him a bit confused. “If you don't want to, that's fine, I won't make it a big deal if you don’t.”
“I’m just surprised you’re so casual about it,” Ghost put his glass down, shuffling a bit closer that made Soap smile wider, “but yes, if you’re sure?”
Ghost nearly sounded nervous, and Soap saw the slight red tint to his cheeks and ears and Soap grinned wider at the knowledge that Ghost got flustered about being partnered up for a mission, he laughed a bit tilting his head to the side and looking up at Ghost, “I’m always sure about you.”

This is not a fic, this is THE fic. Holy smokes. I’ve been utterly consumed by this delicacy. My heart is so full of emotions I can’t even begin to explain. I’ve been torn apart multiple times, with no real reason to breathe besides for reading this work of art. The characters, the world, the scenes… they are utterly perfection, and I don’t think I can’t recover from this. This made me a new person. I- Jesus Christ. I really don’t know how I can carry myself knowing past me was living without having this earth-shattering experience.

If we are truly created in Gods image, doesn't that include his blood-lust? His wrath? His Tyranny? If this is true, do we not also deserve forgivness for our sins?
"People are killed every day right? Just left on the street or thrown in a river. If one is going to kill, then one might as well make some use of the body, instead of just leaving it to rot." Hannibal can see in her eyes that everything she says she believes, and it's really her opinion, but he still can't believe what he is hearing. "Humans are animals, our flesh and bone is just as edible as that of a cow or pig or sheep. We are at the top on the food chain, but we're still a part of it so are we not, by definition, food too?" He would suspect that this was a trick; a ruse to catch him off-guard and to confess who he is and what he's done. He would, were it not for the look in her eye; one of belief, truthfulness and fidelity. Letting him know that she is like him, without her being aware of it.
I own none of the characters or plots found in 'Hannibal', but I do hold all rights to everything else. I have come up with new plots, but events from the existing episodes will also feature.
