Arthur almost sees the truth, but it's wrapped up in hypotheticals, irony and things not said aloud. A missing scene that explores something I've always been a bit curious about, and depending on how you read it, it could be Merlin/Arthur, Merlin/Gwen, or gen.

It's up to you if this is canon or not, as it could go either way, and most of the relationships here are briefly mentioned with the exception of Xander/Willow. Written platonically, but could easily be read romantically, and in the form of a letter.

Merlin is less than pleased about being accused of the murder of his best friend, and he figures some things out. A missing moment in 5x07, A Lesson In Vengeance, that fills a few gaps. It can be read as Merlin/Arthur or as a close friendship, and I suppose it could be read as Merlin/Gwen, Merlin/Gwaine, or Merlin/Gaius, if you're really looking for that, but it wasn't written with anything more than friendship in mind.

Arthur was sleeping, mouth open and chainmail on. Mordred was sleeping a little ways away, pale in the moonlight, looking innocent just to spite him, and Gwaine was keeping watch with a borrowed shirt and an untroubled face as he drew in the dirt with a stick.
Merlin considered, just for a moment, what it would be like to leave now.

Or, Merlin finds himself still in the cave in 5x02, makes his way back, rants to Gwaine, discusses Morgana and magic, and nearly gives away his own secret. It's Merlin/Arthur or Merlin/Gwaine slash if you want to read it that way, but you could also read it as strong friendship and loyalty. There are also hints of Merlin/Morgana, but again, it's up to you if the way he thinks and talks about her is platonic or romantic.
