Id never seen someone tag eds.
Somehow representation I didn't know I needed.
Also ends the way most my stories do.

Will probably keep reading this but the bit about rap music completely brought me out of the fic. It pissed me off tbh. I find it upsetting when literary types & presumably fellow poetry enjoyers don't find value and meaning in rap music.
Moving past the racism of it all.
The desired sound for rap music that isn't going for mass appeal is usually slower beats that I find to be often reminiscent of jazz & big band music. The lyrics outright poetry of the dialects of personal experience combining with intuition to create survival.
In other words hating rap is kinda basic. -
