Baby Spock is nervous. Jim continues to be exceedingly charming. And old Spock is very fond of them both.
AOS Spock meets TOS Jim in the wake of Star Trek: Into Darkness and though he's putting on a brave—and stoic—face, Ambassador Spock can see how badly he's affected even as he's trying to pretend it's not making him super anxious that this new Jim appears to be in a relationship with the older Spock.

Kirk Prime shows up on the Enterprise and Reboot Kirk goes into an uncontrolled skid, feeling inadequate, threatened, and jealous in the face of his esteemed—and happily partnered—other self. This feels like it takes place soon after the first movie, with Jim not yet comfortable in his role as captain and still figuring out his contentious relationship with his first officer. In contrast, TOS Kirk and Spock are confident, loving, and dignified...until Reboot Kirk goads TOS Kirk by hitting on him, and then it's clear they're cut from the same cloth.
Some sweet wish fulfillment for our Kirks and Spocks that gives both pairs a happy ending. With special guest star Bones.

The day-to-day details of Spock's life on the ship give this a wonderful domestic feeling, even though Spock's on a starship in the middle of space and working in a science lab, it's home to him, as is Jim. Though it takes Spock longer to figure that part out.

Spock's coughing up flowers and it's fine and normal and he's completely resigned to his floral fate. If only the rest of the Enterprise would get with the program of everything being fine and normal. Instead McCoy's nearly out of his mind with how illogical it all is, and Kirk keeps being sweet and concerned, which only makes the problem worse. Spock is fantastic here, dry and funny and full of lies.
McCoy repeats, "What the hell, Spock. Why – why are there flowers in your lungs?"
"Personal reasons," says Spock.
Contains descriptions of gagging and vomiting of plant matter and, due to a cultural misunderstanding, behavior that Vulcans might consider sexual harassment.

This is adorable and I especially love how the Kirks and Spocks are just staring at each other (for different reasons one assumes) while everyone else is interacting with their counterpart, like the singing Uhuras, the Boneses with their little grumbling match, and the Sulus showing off their (most likely carnivorous) plants.

Cam-footage gives this vid a warm retro feel and I love the snappy editing, the visual joke of Uhura shoving Kirk into next week, and the way the vidder draws eye contact between the various parts of the Kirk/Spock/Uhura triangle before bringing it all together at the end. Fun and upbeat.
