"Dart the beast first," Whispered a voice hiding within the edge of the woods outside the village of Berk, near the dragon academy. "Then the boy. We can't risk him getting away on that dragon. We need to get him now, away from the others. This may be our only chance for hours, maybe days."
Unfortunately for Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III, he did not hear these whispers as he was on his way to the dragon academy that morning. Neither did Toothless for that matter, as the pair were distracted by Sharpshot, the green terrible terror, babbling and squawking atop Toothless's head, begging for more of the yak jerky the trio had just finished.
