What they don’t tell you about getting older is that everything changes. Not just your body—though that too, of course. The creak of your knees, the low burn in your back, the way your muscles seem to protest even the simplest of tasks. He had braced for those changes.
Expected them, even. He had been told to anticipate the fading of his vision, the dimming of the world at its edges. He had prepared himself for the dulling of his hearing, for the tremor that would someday find its way into his hands, for the occasional misstep or the stumble that came without warning.
But no one told him that the world would change, too.

Summary

This fic came about via a fic prompt about how awkward sex between these two would be, both virginal old men with zero experience and lots of Catholic guilt and repressed sexuality. It is really very fluffy and soft.

Summary
Jesse’s walked this path many times. He’s gone fishing here often, he’s taken hikes along this trail. Normally, it’s pleasant and familiar, the water of the lake can even be seen through the trees during the day. Right now it feels as oppressive as a long, dark tunnel, the light of Jesse’s flashlight illuminating only so far ahead on the trail. It’s dead quiet too, with little more noise then Jesse’s footsteps.
There should be crickets singing, owls hooting. Jesse would even welcome the howl of a wolf, if only for it to break the sudden silence. His pace quickens.
There’s a sound in the bushes then. Snapping twigs and violent rustling. It sounds like something is bolting through the woods. It sounds like something is bolting through the woods towards Jesse. He panics and runs.
It does him little good.

In which Jesse is attacked by a werewolf, and Hanzo steps up to the plate to help him recover from the ordeal. They get closer and Jesse learns some interesting things about Hanzo that he had not before.

“What happened to him?”, Loki hated himself for sounding like a hopeful little dog.
Sylvie sighed:
“He fell through a portal in time. Or so I think. His Time Pad was probably damaged and when he sent you back here, it exploded. An explosion that ripped a hole into time. A hole he fell into. I saw that once before and followed them, because it created a hell of a lot of variant energy where I could hide. I’ve never seen the hunters appear that quickly.”
“So, he is still alive?”, hope bloomed in Loki’s traitorous heart. He didn’t want to let the news come that close to him: “Do you know where he is?”
“Not exactly."

Mobius is gone, disappeared into a hole in time. Destination unkown. Loki stays behind, heartbroken, alone and lonely, destined to live his life until its inevitable end. But time, destiny and Sylvie have different plans for them. And so, a search through time and space ensues, from Nexus-Event to Nexus-Event with only one goal: Find the Nexus-Event, the one that started it all.
The moment, Mobius became a variant.

Summary
"Did he deserve it?" Mobius motioned to the corpse who shared his face. It was unnerving to be face to face with a variant of his own-- a variant that Loki had clearly killed before they arrived. Loki glanced over as he struggled to calm himself and Mobius decided that his variant must have deserved it with how lost and broken Loki looked in that moment.
"Yea." Loki's voice was hoarse when he finally answered and Mobius doesn't want to imagine why. He had done it. He had found Loki. They would deal with all this shit later once Loki was out of this nightmare-- once he was back where he belonged.
"Good." Mobius used the TemPad to open up a portal. "Let's get you home." Loki scoffed softly, but followed Mobius anyway. Mobius had a sinking feeling that whatever had happened here would follow them back to their timeline, but it didn't matter. Loki had him now and unlike the monster who had chained Loki up and carved into his brilliantly blue skin, Mobius would keep him safe.
(And he does).

Loki sat at the table, drumming his fingers impatiently on the surface. It was the same table Mobius had interviewed him at when he’d first been brought to the TVA and he was just as frustrated now as he had been then. Patience had never been a virtue of his.
“You really think this guy will listen?” Sylvie said then. She was standing near the back of the room with her back to the wall, eyeing the door suspiciously.
“Honestly not sure,” Loki replied, sounding a bit distracted. Before he’d taken off through the portal after Sylvie, he would’ve bet good money that Mobius would listen to him, even if it took some pestering, but now? Now Loki wasn’t so sure.
My idea about what could've gone down after episode 3. Keeping in mind that I have not yet seen episode 4.

They saved the world, they got their things back, they got free from the wrath of Heaven and Hell, and things couldn't be more perfect. So why does it seem to Anathema Device and co. that the only people who aren't admitting that Crowley and Aziraphale are in love are Crowley and Aziraphale themselves?
Or alternatively: in which 6000 years of learning to hide it isn't as easy to suddenly unravel as one may think.
