Summary

For this prompt, where the team doesn't know that Clint is deaf until he's captured and deprived of his sight and hearing aids and,
the rescue is made more difficult by the fact that he doesn't know who they are and keeps fighting. Even after the hood is cut off, he's still fighting because he still can't see or hear.
In which Clint is hopefully not broken, and the aftermath of a traumatic rescue effects the whole team.

He's not really anything that a dragon should be, so what's he got to brag about? Anyway, it's a secret he's managed to keep until another stupid glowy staff comes along and decides to stick him in his dragon scales before leaving him and the Avengers to deal with the consequences.

Times like this, Bucky really missed his other arm. ‘course, he also missed hot showers, and licorice, and thumbs. He’d gladly be stuck with one arm if he could get one of his thumbs back.
Clint Barton isn't surprised when he picks up another battered looking stray. Maybe it's the fact that he begs for coffee, comes when called, and answers when Clint talks to him. Maybe it's the tags linking him back to a man Clint's only marginally convinced isn't just the assassins version of the bogeyman. But something about the cat just isn't quite right, and Clint's never been smart enough to just avoid this kind of weird crap.

Bucky found the chances of that likely; the guy was a wreck with one black eye and the other soon to follow suit, his t-shirt torn in multiple places and blood tinting his dirty blond hair a sickly orange-pink hue. If the stranger continued to stroke Lucky’s fur with his bleeding palm, they would soon match.
