Summary
Hermitcraft is a server which doubles as an organisation to rescue trafficked hybrids. These are the stories of some of the hermits. :)

“I want to make sure you get there.”
Grian studied him for a moment, then asked the question that had been weighing on Mumbo’s mind the entire day. “What will you do after?”
Mumbo hesitated, then shook his head slowly. “I don’t know. Maybe head home, if there’s anything left of it. Or just… figure out what freedom feels like.” He paused, his voice barely a whisper. “If there is such a thing anymore.”
Or, Mumbo escapes captivity with two hybrids, and fights to keep them safe by finding the Hermits.

Summary
Xisuma adds a seemingly harmless patch to the Hermitcraft server, intended to fix mob behavior. Instead, it breaks the server hybrids, making mob code take precedent over player code. X will have to try and fix it (and remain corporeal) while the unaffected Hermits try and wrangle their newly feral friends.
Notice: This fic is discontinued by the author. It likely will never be continued or completed without some major rewrites.

Summary
Hermitcraft was well-known as a safe refuge for hybrids of all kinds. The rest of the worlds and servers were filled with hunters and cruel people who wouldn't hesitate to hunt them down and capture them. But what happens when a group of hunters break through the server's firewalls and raid Hermitcraft?
Doc is no stranger to hunters, he has been captured before. He knows what its like. Some of his friends here have never needed to experience what captivity is like, and he intends to keep it that way. No matter the cost.
Even if it means being captured again.
Whumptober prompt #14: Left For Dead. I know its not the 14th yet, but I don't have the patience to do them all lol! So I am just picking and choosing.
Note: Origins SMP members Niki, Tommy, Philza, and Ranboo play a very minor role in the 2nd chapter. Just tagged them because that is the universe they are from.Series

“I see” Alex’s voice is void of all it’s previous emotion, his eyes are dimmer, and his smile is long wiped away. The response feels like a stone dropping in John’s stomach. He’d been starting to like his roommate, over the past five minutes he’d gotten somewhat attached, wondering if maybe he would have a friend here, one to work with as Alex had suggested not even two minutes ago. He could feel the fairy tale drifting far from his reach.
“Well then, I hope you won’t be too uncomfortable sleeping in the same room as a queer immigrant. Of course I’m sure you can always call down to administration and get yourself a room swap, wouldn’t want to make you uncomfortable with my gay longing looks or the chance that I might steal your shit or your job or something” The words ram into Lauren’s chest like tiny darts.
