I've been called a lot of things. A freak, a mistake, an abomination, a sadist, a psycho, a monster. Basically ton of fancy ways of saying I'm unwanted by every family that trys to take me in, that I don't fit in anywhere with anyone. Whatever it's not like I care, my life is fine the way it is, houses are overrated anyway. I thought it would be like that forever until I found a man in the woods, holding a dagger over some boy, covered in his blood, smiling at his screams.

Even better he agrees to teach me! But so quickly I barely notice it I start to feel something dangerously close to.. Reliance... Even trust. All the things I banned myself from feeling a long time ago. Is this what being wanted feels like? What being loved feels like? It's strange, scary. What if this was never meant for me in the first place? It feels too good to be real and in my life that usually means it won't last very long. this story switches perspectives between odysseus, telemachus, and penelope showing the same events focusing mostly on telem & ody
mainly dealing with telem's trauma
the song Odysseus ends a bit differently and so ICHBW doesn't happen. now telemachus is scared of his father. both father and son deal with guilt and trauma and both hide it. odysseus wants to be a better father to telemachus and telemachus wants to be a better son to odysseus. everything between them and in themselves keeps building and building but what happens when neither can hide it anymore?

When Telemachus is on his way home from his diplomatic mission, a storm hits and he almost dies before shipwrecking on Aeaea where he accidentally finds the one person he would've done anything to meet for his whole life.. unfortunately the sentiment doesn't seem to be shared when Telemachus finds out he doesn't recognize him for more reasons than just the time that's passed, and what's more he's replaced Telemachus with one of Circe's nymphs the exact same age as him! Everyone around him keeps promising that it will all work out alright but it feels like every hope he'd ever had was a lie and he doesn't know what to believe anymore, all while he tries to hide new and old trauma behind his usual "I'm fine"s and the one person he's looked up to as long as he can remember grows to hate him. Through it all Telemachus can't help wondering : Is he even worth remembering?
