Summary
For some reason, Will feels compelled to travel into the forest. Perhaps it was for the wanting of peace, for the quiet of being alone and away from the problems of his life. It was supposed to be a short walk, an exploration. It was supposed to be.
When Will Graham travels into a forest he finds himself unknowingly alluring something other, captivating such a hedonistic creature that Will is blind to, until it’s too late. Hannibal is a mystical God of another realm, a king of the forest, mother and father of nature, and giver and taker of life. Despite this all, he finds himself intrigued at this new intruder. Obsessed and captivated—he desires with lust and recognition. He needs to have him, a divine instinct that acknowledges the human within his realm is an equal, his true equal. So Hannibal will do whatever it takes to do just so...to make sure Will will become entangled with him forever.
There are some omegaverse dynamics present, sort of, but nothing too traditional. While Will is a human, Hannibal has more “animalistic” qualities, such as mating, bonding, or whatnot. Will may not inherently possess those characteristics, but Hannibal can change that. He can and he will.

They strike up an odd friendship as Nigel takes Will under his wing, determined to coax the young man out of his shell to enjoy the party life that NYC has to offer. As their friendship deepens, things get more difficult and painful as Will grapples with the truth of his feelings for this man.
Nigel is basically Hannibal in this, under an assumed identity, but much more casual and flirtatious. He's also toxic as hell, but Will holds his own to be fair. Lots of angst, hurt, and fluff to be found. This all spiraled from a beautiful edit made by @o0_00_o0 on Tiktok to the "in another life" audio - highly recommend!

James is ready to kiss every single girl in Hogwarts if it means finding the person that was made for him. When convinced that Lily is his soulmate, she reveals she will only go out with him if he befriends Severus, the same person he has bullied for years.
Severus just wants to get through his life at Hogwarts, and home, without any problems. Is that too much to ask? And no, he does not trust James' attempts at being friends, but he goes along with it anyways.
