Work has been his priority, but his parents have told him that he is at the age where he needs to think about settling down and set up an arranged marriage for their son. But it turns out that the partner they chose for him is the son of a rival company. Sephiroth doesn't expect anything more from the union really, at least it will be good for the betterment of the company. Cloud successfully blackmails the star player of Midgar College's hockey team into helping him get revenge against his ex—or more importantly, Zack's teammate. And it goes great, until Cloud's not the one looking for revenge.

When Cloud Strife fell in action, everyone was just happy to hear he survived. For Cloud though, he wonders if there are worse things than being dead.
Years of his life are gone. No memories. Nothing. Not to mention that his mind barely seems able to function normally ever since he woke up. He's not sure if he'll ever be normal again, or if he'll ever remember what he lost. He can only hope to have a new life worth remembering. Even if he may never be cleared for military duty again. Hopefully his friends can help him find new dreams to live for.

When Hojo is unexpectedly killed by one of his lab experiments, the Turks are sent to prepare the labs for a new head of science by clearing out most of Hojo’s old experiments. Certain circumstances come to light when the Turks reveal that one of Hojo’s experiments is a pregnant omega and its young pup, and that the father of both children is in fact Sephiroth himself. Though ill prepared to start a family, Sephiroth vows to be a better father than his own by taking in the omega and raising the children himself. He never expected to fall in love along the way, let alone in a love that would drive him to tear ShinRa down brick by brick if it meant keeping Cloud safe.
