Summary
Clark Kent, Sam thinks, is Superman.
Sam’s mind is racing, but his thoughts are quiet: a dangerous, dagger-sharp silence. It seems so simple, now; why else would Lois choose an alien over him if she hadn’t been fooled into falling in love with it?
The thing on the floor—because Nemesis Omega deserves no names, no identity—is looking at him with terrified confusion, eyes flitting between his statuesque face and the green crystal in his hands. Comprehension dawns, slower than it ought to—Sam surmises the effects of this stone on the alien aren’t limited to physical strain. “Nnh—” it chokes out between gasping breaths, attempting to shuffle backwards, away from Sam. “No, you—please, don’t—”
Sam Lane finds the Kryptonite hidden in Jimmy’s room, and Clark Kent collapses. The General puts some pieces together.

Before they can figure out who he is or why he’s there, he and Dr. Wells disappear, seemingly into thin air. As secrets are uncovered and relationships are tested, the people who will eventually form Team Flash have one goal: to find Barry, and bring him home.
Even if this whole ‘Flash’ thing makes everything more complicated.

Summary
“Mike? Are you alright?”
A wet, choked-sounding laugh. “No, Uncle Henry, I don’t—” The word delves into a series of hacking coughs, and he weakly finishes, “—think so.”
“Where are you?”
“My house.” There is a muffled shuffling sound, punctuated by uneven breaths. “Can you—can you come pick me up? I don’t know… there’s something wrong with me.”
After having all of his organs scooped out by a killer animatronic possessed by his dead sister, Michael does the only thing he can think to do.
He calls his Uncle Henry.

Summary
Loid’s eyes trace over the face of the woman pinning him to the ground three times, his usually nimble mind moving with unforgivable lethargy as he tries to piece together the incongruous picture presented to him.
Because that face is one he knows well.
The danger of the weapon poking into his neck with violent promise is forgotten as he blinks up at the form of his wife, seeing similar bewilderment—and the hint of something darker, something like betrayal—reflected in her gaze.
“Yor?”
Thorn Princess and Twilight’s missions collide. This has calamitous results for the Forger family.

Summary
Dean nods, a strange expression pulling at his face. “Oookay. Don’t let Mr. Wright hear you say that, though—wouldn’t wanna make the guy think his class isn’t completely mind-numbing.”
Caatiel stares at the boy for a second, whose lips are tugging upwards in the corners, and then something peculiar happens. It starts deep in his chest, a bubbling, warm sensation like the cheerful babbling of a brook, making its way up his throat until it eventually escapes his mouth in a harsh sound.
His eyes widen and he covers his mouth, alarmed by his tenuous control over these new human instincts. “What is this—this warm sensation flowing out of me? Like a cough, but… strangely pleasant.”
A similar sound leaves Dean's mouth. “You mean laughter?”
“What does it signify?” The sound escapes again, strangled by his quickening breaths, and Castiel sends the boy a look of distress. “Is it fatal?”
After a fledgling Castiel is cast from heaven by Raphael, he must find a purpose on Earth as little more than a human. He is dragged to something known as 'high school' and meets a strange human named Dean, and dares to hope that this purpose might lie within his green eyes.

Summary
“El?” Mike whispers, breathless and choked, so soft that the word is swallowed by the roaring of the waterfall. It must be loud enough, though, because her head shifts.
She turns to face him fully, and it’s as if Michael Wheeler is seeing in colour for the first time in years.
He can’t be entirely sure what happens next; sometime after his heart stops at the sight of her, he is colliding with her in a tangle of limbs, without even realising he started running.
She smells just like he remembers, like blueberries and Eggo waffles, but with an added curl of bitter woodsmoke; she fits in his arms like she was designed to be there, and he tightens his grip further, as if they can become one just by embracing hard enough. “El,” he chokes out, a half-laugh, half-sob. Her head is buried in his neck, tucked under his chin, hair tickling his bare skin.
El and Mike reunite a few years after the events of Season 5.

Summary
“What do you say we blow this joint, huh, Ev?”
Brows pulling together, Evan stares at Mike with confusion. “But… but it's my birthday. I can't leave.”
Mike tries for a smile, one that feels like plastic on his face. “Sure you can. C'mon, I'll buy you some ice cream.”
“Really?” Evans voice is an awed hush, his eyes wide as dinner plates. So excited, and so shocked by this display of brotherly care.
Mike's stomach churns, and he nods, willing the lifetime of regret and guilt to not show on his face. “Of course,” he says, his voice thick and painful as it leaves his throat. God, he’s even smaller than Mike remembers. Taking one of Evan’s smaller, shaking hands in his, Mike stands to his feet and leads his brother out of Fredbear’s Family Diner.
Rather than dying in the FNAF 6 fire, Mike is sent back in time to before his brother's death, and is given a second chance.

Summary
“You—you died, Dean. Again. And… as I held your body, I just… waited. I waited to wake up again, because endless Tuesdays with you is better than a Wednesday without you, but… nothing.” He barks out a laugh, but it comes out a strangled sob, and he presses his palms against his eyes. “I must have sat in that parking lot for three hours, begging to go back, for this to be different. But nothing.”
“How long…?” Dean’s voice trembles, as if he’s afraid of the answer.
Sam swipes at his eyes, lowering his hands again to his lap. “Six months,” he breathes, a familiar detachment seeping into the words and adding a clinical edge.
Post Mystery Spot, a familiar song comes on in the Impala, sending Sam’s precariously built walls tumbling down. A much needed conversation between the brothers ensues.

Summary
“De—eaa,” Sam forces out, his tongue burning at the unfamiliar word, a horrible fear setting deep within him like ice—Lucifer doesn’t like it when he speaks English. Lucifer doesn’t like it when he calls for Dean. He’s going to be mad he’s going to hurt him hurt him hurt him—
Sam just doesn’t want to hurt anymore.
A clamouring sound to his right shocks him out of his spiralling, and he recoils against a hard wall, opening his eyes—he didn’t realise he closed them, the Cage was always so dark, so thick and suffocating and cold—to see a face he’s dreamed of. One he thought he’d never see again.
“Dean,” he finally manages to whisper, tears of relief and just a bit of fear pricking at his too-clear eyes.
Dean says something back, the words garbled to Sam’s ears as if they’re coming from underwater, and then he’s coming closer, hands twitching by his sides and steps uncharacteristically hesitant.
The wall that Death erected to protect Sam’s mind is unsuccessful, leaving the hunter to navigate centuries’ worth of memories and suffering. And after nearly two centuries of speaking Enochian, Sam isn’t sure he can remember how to speak English.

Summary
“Sammy,” his father breathes, the word trembling with horror yet still somehow managing to travel to the other side of the farmhouse, where it burrows deep into Sam’s brain and heart. “Your… your eyes.”
Sam jerks back in surprise, glancing around until he catches a glimpse of a metal hook, hanging right by his head. He peers at it, trying to make out his warped reflection in the dull meta—
No.
Oh, God, no.
Sam raises a trembling hand to his face, trailing it towards the pools of inky darkness where his eyes should be, shifting and swirling with depth like a nest of shadows. The sight of it is so—so monstrous, so wrong, and Sam can’t even recognise himself in it.
This can’t—this can’t be real.
As he stares at the monster wearing his face, not even daring to blink, the darkness leaks out of his eyes, leaving their normal hazel. But even in the absence of that otherworldly blackness, he can still see it, the monster, lurking behind a young face and innocent eyes.
Sam's powers manifest earlier. John doesn't take too kindly to it.

Summary
Before he’s even registered that he’s moving, Jake steps into the room, eyes drinking in the sight of his—of his brother. Of Jesse. He’s more sharp edges than he ever used to be, and the shaven head and apparent fetish for leather are a further step into the unfamiliar.
Before Jake can say something—although words have fled his mind; he doesn't even know where to start—Jesse whirls around, brandishing two guns at him.
Jake flinches back, raising his hands protectively in front of his face and finally managing to choke out, “Jesse, it's me!”
Jesse looks at him for a second like he's seeing through him, the harsh scars on his face and hardness of his eyes contrasting the few memories Jake has of his brother. Then, the man blinks, the tension leaking out of his body as fast as it came.
He lowers the guns. His eyes track Jake's face like it’s his first time seeing it. “Jake…?”Jake reunites with his brother one last time.

Summary
The one in red stepped forward, an arm raised placatingly and mouth trembling between a smile and a grimace, then whispered, “Leo, we’re here to take you home. You’re okay now, you’re gonna be okay.” His voice was weak, broken, and something inside the kappa whispered that that was wrong wrong wrong because red was strong and unshakeable. It didn’t know how it knew that, and that distress hammered down on its chest, making it feel like it was falling, falling, spinning out of control—
Everything went blank. All it could feel was the hilt of its sword against its sweaty hands, all it could hear was Fennec’s steady breathing at its back.
All it could see was two threats.
Or, an AU of DaFlangstLairde’s Turtle and the Fox, where Leo isn’t found immediately after being kidnapped by Fennec, but instead spends a year with him. Angst ensues.

Summary
Merlin groaned, opening his cold blue eyes to glare at Arthur. He struggled, twisting wildly, but Arthur was too strong.
That’s not Merlin, Arthur thought as the stranger’s chilling stare seemed to penetrate his soul. It can’t be.
“Who are you?!” Arthur demanded, a raw edge of desperation in his voice.
The stranger who looked like Merlin grinned ferally. “Don’t you recognise me?” He crooned in a sickly-sweet voice. “I’m your servant, Merlin.”Merlin's first murder attempt nearly succeeds, and Arthur realises how much his servant means to him.

Summary
“Oh, and Leonardo?” she calls once he reaches the door, voice light and dainty once again.
He stops, fidgeting with his hands and turning back towards her, then replies as steadily as he can, “Yes, Mother?”
She’s facing the window now, her profile grave and stark in the low light. Something bright and golden catches his eye, and he glances at a few locks of his own hair caught on her claws, drifting limply on the slight breeze from the window.
“Never,” Big Mama growls, the sound guttural and beastly and everything she is deep inside, “ask to leave”—she turns her head to face him, her eyes glowing from the slight darkness, blinking one by one—“again.”
Or, a Tangled AU featuring blonde Leo, Mother Gothel Big Mama, and plenty of angst and shenanigans.

Summary
A grim smile tugged at his lips, and he reclined against the decidedly uncomfortable stairs, hooking his hands together behind his head. The purples and blues of night were steadily being swallowed by the fiery light of day, beams of gold defiantly challenging the darkness.
It was a damn beautiful sunrise.
He only wished Leonore Dove had been able to see it.
The first sunrise on a world without a Reaping.

Summary
But then the man turned slightly, his profile framed by the fiery light of the setting sun—dark eyes set in a lightly stubbled face and a crooked nose.
“Keef?” Melshi whispered, voice cracking on the name he hadn’t said in so long. Although the word was barely a breath, the man still cocked his head, turning fully with an eyebrow raised.
Their eyes met. Keef’s usually guarded, impenetrable coal eyes widened, a flash of emotions passing through them in the space of a single breath.
“Melshi?”
Melshi and Cassian reunite on Yavin 4.
