Summary
The tiredness hits him like waves crashing onto rocks during a storm. His limbs feel heavy, far too heavy to move, and the nausea is overbearing. He closes his eyes, the light is making the pain in his head worse, it feels as if it's starting to split into two. He can feel himself slowly fading away. A voice plunges through the darkness trying desperately to reach him. “Stede, Stede…” He thinks that’s his name, he’s not sure, it's too hard to think.
After a blow to the head, Stede finds himself living in a place he doesn't recognise, with a man he doesn't remember. Is it possible to fall in love with the same person twice?
This story is inspired by the 1991 film "Regarding Henry" and some personal experience.

They’ve lived here on the island for half a year, and Ed is happy, of course he is. He wakes up in Stede’s arms more often than not, and on the “not” days Stede is usually up making him tea or arranging fresh flowers on the nightstand.
But every so often Ed catches himself holding his breath. He’ll be looking at Stede in the candlelight and be struck, as if by lightning, with the hurt of that night on the dock, when he waited for Stede until the sun rose. In those moments, Ed feels the world go off-kilter, like he’s looking up at his life from underwater.
While out thrifting for furniture and decorations for the inn, Ed comes across a painting that leads him on a journey of self-discovery and self-acceptance.

Summary
In 1919, telegraph operator Stede Bonnet returns from the Great War with no memory and no voice, unable to recall what happened to break his mind. On his first night at home, he sees the translucent image of a man he knows is Ed in the mirror, except that this Ed comes from 1719.
Just as Stede knows that he's lost his Ed, this Ed has lost his Stede, and neither of them knows why. Reaching out across these broken lines of connection over two centuries, they'll work together to remember the endings of their stories, and to find what they've lost.

Summary
Andalite scientist Stedeth-Esgarrouth-Bonnetil crash lands in an abandoned construction site, pursued by the vicious Visser Four, a high level leader in the Yeerk invasion of Earth. A small motley crew of humans rescues him, and in return he gives them the power to morph—to turn into animals—so that they can resist the quiet but destructive war being waged on their world.
Ed Teach’s mom went missing a long time ago. He’s worked through it, goes to therapy, owns his bar; while it wasn’t exactly what he expected, life has been pretty good. Still, he was thinking about packing it all in, until he sees a falling star and encounters a blue four-legged alien called Stede.

Ed’s been fluttery and light and happy this morning as he checks guests in to the same room Stede pushed him against the dresser, kissed him within an inch of his life and then slid down and licked and sucked his asshole until Ed nearly drooled into the wood. He’s doling out smiles like the daisies Stede plucked yesterday for the guests to take from a wide-topped vase at the counter in front of Ed. Then Stede appears, and Ed’s smile gets impossibly wider, could probably be called a grin now, a beaming fucking grin until Stede leans over the desk to the white-haired short old ex-pirate Ed’s helping count change to pay for his room and says, “May I borrow my friend here for a moment, dear guest?”
And that’s the moment Ed’s brain decides to notice it.
Friend.
Or: Months into running a modestly successful Inn, a lovestruck Ed wonders why he and Stede are calling each other friend all the fuckin' time.

“Ah! Not in this cult!” Stede beamed at him and looked around expectantly. “Remember? What’s our number one rule?”
Roach raised his hand. “Don’t sacrifice my chicken.”
“Not quite number one, but still high up,” Stede replied. “Swede?”
“Stick to the chore schedule?”
“Definitely in the top ten.” There were no more hands, and he sighed. “Come on! If we want to get a good result, we talk about it…”
“As a cult,” the others chorused, some more reluctant than others.
AKA the Lovecraftian AU no one asked for!
In which High Priest Stede struggles with nosy Badmintons, his cultists and the Spanish Inquisition. Meeting Edthulhu makes everything better. Now Stede just has to help the eldritch deity emerge fully into this world. It'll be fine! Probably!
