His popularity rankings are plummeting and he and his manager need to find a way to make him the public's favorite. But there are so many approaches to take…what strategy should they use? What does Katsuki need to do to become likable?
The answer becomes obvious when Izuku is introduced. When his manager sees a side of Katsuki he’s never seen before. The green haired man is special to Katsuki, that much is clear. Katsuki becomes nicer and softer and kinder around him.
And he needs that version of Katsuki public. Needs people to see how nice Katsuki can be around someone he loves.
So, Izuku is now Katsuki’s fake boyfriend. Only for publicity purposes of course.

“ Sorry, I’m late, everyone!” He opens his eyes to greet his class, when his heart suddenly drops. This was not his class. Well, it… was technically… but it wasn’t his students.
“...Huh..? Where are…?” Izuku looked around the room, and what stared back at him were the faces of his friends. Bakugou was sitting at his desk while Kirishima was talking to him, Iida was scolding him to put his feet down, Jirou was making fun of Kaminari, and Todoroki was sitting in his seat in silence.
“ What the…”
“Midoriya? Why are you in a suit..?” But then Kirishima spoke up, “ Wait, guys, that can’t be Midoriya because he’s right here!” Everyone stopped talking and looked over to where he was pointing, and there he was. Izuku. Young Izuku. 16-year-old Izuku, sitting at his desk. His eyes were wide, his mouth agape, and he looked to be sweating.
Or adult Izuku time travels 8 years back.

Mirai looked at Midoriya Izuku in a new light. The future he saw was a little over a year away. How had he gotten involved with All For One in such a short time? Did he already have connections to the man? His parents perhaps? All to get that quirk he saw?
The boy shifted under his gaze, squirming uncomfortably.
“I’m sorry. I saw something that surprised me,” Mirai apologized. He released the boy’s arm, noting that his grip had tightened considerably. It had probably hurt.
“Nothing too bad, right?” Midoriya chuckled nervously. “You’d tell me if I was gonna die?”
“Right. Nothing like that,” Mirai smiled. “I’ll make sure that nothing bad happens.”

At a book signing, Sir Nighteye meets Midoriya Izuku and catches a glimpse of his future. Misunderstanding what he saw, he decides that Midoriya is a threat to All Might. Being the loyal (ex)sidekick that he is, he simply removes the threat from the board.
If only things hadn't gotten so out of hand...
