Summary

Summary
April getting kidnapped was bad enough. Learning her kidnappers are aliens is even worse, and it all goes downhill from there once they run into a mutant turtle that seems hellbent on tearing the aliens apart.
He introduces himself as Donatello and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out that the Kraang left him with a few trust issues. He tells them they kidnapped him and his family a few years back and now he's on a mission to get back at them and free his family. Seeing as not only are the Kraang seeking to take April and Donnie back but take over the world as well, it only makes sense to team up.
Trying to stop an alien invasion is no easy task with just the three of them, however. Trust is not so easily won and things get even more messy when the Kraang uses Donnie’s family in order to fight back against them.
(Or the Kraang find and capture Donnie and his family for three years before Donnie successfully escapes with the help of Casey and April, who are at the right place at the right time. Now it’s a matter of working together after years of distrust, and trying to save the people he had to leave behind.)

A gloved hand landed on his back, successfully breaking what little concentration Ed had been keeping to stay balanced, and his face was very quickly planted in wet and sticky sand. He tried to get up, tried to force his body to work, but nothing helped. A pained whine left his throat, and the gloved hand was now trying to push him onto his back.
A sound fell from his bloody lips, unheard by its owner as he was pulled to Roy’s chest. Ed couldn’t help but curl into the hold, burying his face in the Colonel’s jacket, no doubt staining it with his blood. Roy said nothing, or maybe he did, his chest simply vibrating as he started running, moving swiftly through debris and over discarded bodies. So many had fallen this day, and there was nothing they could do about it, not anymore. Funny how things work, as the last thing Ed saw before it all faded to black was his superior yelling something to him, fear plain in his eyes.

Duckweed is plastered all over them; their right eye, their left cheek, not to mention their clothes. Somewhere in the back of his mind he notes that they're a kid. Around fourteen-fifteen. Their hair is short, messy, dark. (Too dark.) The kid peers at him through eyes that feel much too intelligent for their age. (Wrong shade, too light.)
It's like seven years have been stripped from him all at once and Chuuya is fifteen once more.
OR: Chuuya finds a kid that reminds him too much of the ex-partner he wants so badly to hate.

He glanced down at his hands, examining them carefully as they glowed faintly in the moonlight.

The aircraft leaving Piltover should've been a simple ride, one that went unnoticed by those not paying attention. It was time for her to break the cycle. Her legs dangled as she stared at the retreating cities below her, her fingers toying with her last gemstone, with a curious look, she leered at it closer.
A simple choice to finally look at it, not for what it was, but for how it shined, a slight twitch of her eye was all she had as a warning before a quick burst of blue engulfed her.
When she opens her eyes, she's on the ground, no sign of injuries, but her legs feel too numb to be fine. With a bit of struggle, she finally manages to sit herself up, only to be face to face with a curious bright green eyed boy with a similar features to a child she once knew.
