Summary
In which none of the Avengers really knew there was somebody living on the thirteenth floor of the Tower until Steve found her drinking tea at the dining table in the common room. It also didn't help that she is something of a clairvoyant, who nearly spat said tea all over the floor upon seeing a snatch of Steve's future... Which apparently determined he'd be slow fucking her into oblivion while his best friend made a necklace of hickeys around her throat on a California King at some point.
Tony, as her friend and sorta-boss who knew her since defeating the Mandarin, thinks it's hilarious that her possibly-inevitable future results in such an encounter. Pepper, as her friend and actual boss, offers a few sympathies before asking for her professional opinion on the stock market. And her? She just wants to go back to being generally ignored on the thirteenth floor, where she's not bombarded with visions of peoples' lives or worrying about whether anyone saw the floating kettle pour tea into her monster-sized mug.

Summary
Darcy Lewis is a contradictory force created from cleverness, a lack of hesitation, shitty humor, and a partially problematic love for kitschy crafts. She was somewhat lost on the long road of existence, like any chaotic force scrambling to find an outlet, and tried to pick something for a college major so she could get her life going in some sensible direction. Her mother always did say that plans saved lives, Darcy recalls, as if the forty-five year old housewife was the reincarnation of Captain America and that wholesome, outdated propaganda would somehow persuade her into becoming a functional person.
Of course, even the best laid plans often go awry, and it’s no different for Darcy. Norse gods are real, SHIELD is surprisingly intimidated by her computer skills, cyborgs are extremely depressing creatures, and the path to discovering herself is littered with dangerous obstacles.
(In which sexuality and gender are hard to figure out, real people make a lot of mistakes, and being friends with troubled superheroes isn’t all it’s cracked up to be)

Summary
A peculiar ranger captain, commanding a rowdy garrison of Southwestern Ithilien men at the Poros outpost, is reassigned to Osgiliath with his subordinates. Finding himself serving under Faramir and his elder Captain-General brother, the man finds he would rather be reading books and harassing Haradrim at his former post than combating orcs from Mordor with the Steward-sons. But as time passes, the Steward-sons begin to question the captain's personal background and talents. Will they come to learn something from this quirky, book-reading man? Is he a man at all?
In which one very smart young woman changes the tide of the future, Faramir is confused yet starstruck, Boromir is amused, and Denethor wants her hung for numerous counts of treason.

Summary
This series is more of a small pile of fanfictions I wrote on Fanfiction.net when I was younger and I reposted here before I ceremonially killed my Fanfiction.net account. I was getting far too much spam and AI bots harassing me, and I felt it was time to close the book on that part of my life. BUT! Here the old fanfics live, for anyone to read and judge my younger self for her writing choices.

Summary
In which various modern people from Earth end up in Middle Earth/Arda and wild shit ensues. This collection is just various stand-alone OC-centric Lord of the Rings fics I'm liable to write (and maybe never finish). We pray I find the energy to finish them one day.... but not this day!

Summary
To have a soulmate was a gift from the Force, a reminder that no one had to traverse this galaxy—so often cold, and dark, and terrible—alone. Soulmates took so many different forms, they were reminded, how could they not, when the galaxy was full of so many different people who needed so many different things. But each form it took was just as valuable as another.
By the time Obi-Wan was ten, he was the last of his creche mates to have not received markings on his skin from his soulmate.
Still, he took to drawing on his left wrist, a new picture each day, starting with a clean slate each morning and slowly adding to it throughout the day. Some days it was nothing more than a rough sketch, far too busy to manage more. Other days he managed more intricate designs.
He wondered if his soulmate saw them but simply didn’t want to answer.
Or, and Obi-Wan tried not to think about it, whether he simply didn’t have a soulmate at all.
It was a silly fear, he told himself, everyone had a soulmate.

Summary
“They must receive an allowance from the Order,” Kote said.
“How much, then?” Rex asked up at him.
Kote tipped his head and just stared into Rex’s eyes endlessly, the way he did when people asked him questions that made him want to swallow them whole with their own ignorance.
“No way of knowing without intrusive measures,” he determined.
“We gotta ask one,” Bly translated for Rex.

Summary
"When someone hits you, take the hit. Look back up at them, and grin in their face. This unsettles them. This means you are in control."
"When someone hits you, take the hit. Crumple to the floor. Go limp and stay there. They'll get bored and leave soon enough."
On the evening of a military ball none of them really want to go to, Anakin and Obi-Wan have very different advice to give Rex and Cody, respectively.

Summary
Cody picked up the voice comm with bad grace. It wasn’t his standard-issue device. “Hello, dear,” he said, sounding exasperated.
Rex blinked, because Cody was speaking Mando’a, which meant Wooley had done a double take but Anakin hadn’t even looked up from the holoscreen.
Obi-Wan goes undercover. Cody takes some calls. These two facts are absolutely not related.
