Extreme sports show host Wei Wuxian incurs a head injury while mountain climbing and wakes up with no memory of the last five years of his life— including his painful divorce with his college sweetheart, Lan Wangji.
“Working out, hosting a show, travelling,” Wei Wuxian mumbles, eyes drooping. “Do I at least buy groceries every now and then to make up for it?”
Lan Wangji watches him drift to sleep. He doesn’t get to answer Wei Wuxian’s question, and he’s all the more thankful for it. He knows what Wei Wuxian is really asking: ‘where do you fit into all of this?’
The answer is, he doesn’t.
