Desperate to figure out a way to stop feeling so goddamn angry anytime Gideon comes within five feet of Sirius, Remus goes to James and Lily for advice. James and Lily, in their infinite wisdom, patiently and systematically explain that what Remus is feeling is not internalized homophobia, but jealousy.
In the end, it turns out Remus doesn't have any issues with Sirius kissing guys if it's him he's kissing.
