“Why did my stupid goddamn heart had to fall inlove with you.I didn’t ask for this,” Kaveh continued, his voice shaky, as if he were struggling to keep himself together. “I didn’t want to feel this way about you. It just… happened.” He let out a shaky breath, his hands fisting at his sides. “And now I’m stuck with it.”
Alhaitham's gaze softened, though he remained silent.
“Why can’t you see that I’m trying to be honest?” Kaveh pressed, his frustration bubbling to the surface. “I thought maybe you’d understand, but instead, it feels like you’re pushing me away.”
Alhaitham stood up, feeling the need to bridge the distance between them. “I’m not trying to push you away. I’m trying to protect you—”
“Protect me?” Kaveh interrupted, a flash of anger in his eyes. “From what? The possibility of being happy? Of feeling something real? You think I’m a burden, don’t you?”
“No,” Alhaitham said firmly, shaking his head. “I think you deserve someone who can embrace all of you without hesitation, without fear. And I don’t know if I can be that person. Not now, not ever.”

Using his broken Sign Language he somehow manages to steal the heart of Alhaitham, a young bookshop owner who lives alone with his sister. Awkward pining and cuteness ensues. Guess it's time for Kaveh to brush up on his sign language skills.

Summary
Dazai’s hand rests on the small of his back and he can feel Kunikida shifting too, he’s deep asleep, face hiding in the crock of Dazai’s neck. He's snoring softly, low enough for Dazai to find it cute instead of annoying. Even asleep, his arm is back to being wrapped around them the moment he notices the loss.
It doesn’t take long for Chuuya’s breath to slow down and Dazai knows that he’s asleep again, relaxed and content to be held by people he trusts.
And Dazai just stared at the ceiling of their home for a few more seconds before giving up on sleep because, even if he’s still tired, there’s no way he goes back to sleep now.

The redhead’s grin was absolutely feral.
Chuuya was a champion. Regardless of how strong his opponent was, whether they deemed themselves better than him or not, the moment they chose him as the opposition their fate was sealed by one major factor.
Nakahara Chuuya never loses. Especially when Dazai Osamu was by his side.

Dazai scrunches up his nose in distaste. “Oh, then I guess I should apologize for subjecting everyone to that.”
“He did fine,” Chuuya chastises, releasing Dazai’s wrist when it becomes apparent that he isn’t going to flail anymore. He slides his hand over Dazai’s forehead, uncharacteristically gentle as he brushes his fringe out of the way. His palm is cold against Dazai’s skin, making him whine again. “Damn. You’re burning up. I thought you were just slacking off, but I guess you really are sick.”
Or: Chuuya is a world-famous rock vocalist in one of the most successful bands to come out of Japan in the past five years. More importantly, he makes soup for his sick lead guitarist.

The knock was rough and impatient; the annoyance behind it apparent. Dazai knew that type of knock could only come from one person, whose anger was as familiar to him as his own flesh and blood. He let out a series of frustrated curses to himself. His breath came out in sharp huffs as he saturated a bath towel with hydrogen peroxide and scrubbed at the dried blood.
