Summary
Merlin frowned, and tried to inhale, but choked on a cough. He opened his mouth, trying to speak but his mouth was sticky and full and he felt warm, warm, warm, warm spilling down down down down…
The world tilted on its axis a little bit, and Merlin leant into Arthur’s body. Why was the world tilting?
Arthur’s face shifted from annoyance to horror.

Summary
In his lifetime, Shang Xirui has performed countless stories. He’s worn a thousand masks, been a vessel for another character so often he forgets which parts of him are real and which are stolen from the stage. He’s lived and loved and died through his opera, and if there’s one thing he’s learnt from it all, it’s this: love comes hand in hand with tragedy.
Which is why, when Cheng Fengtai begins to withdraw, he presses forward and kisses him again.

"There is something you should know before making a final decision.”
“I’m already aware he’s Russian, sir,” Napoleon said. “And he’s still on good terms with them, so he must at least technically be a Communist.”
Waverly brushed that aside. “All of the Russian agents are. Kuryakin, however, is also an admitted homosexual.”

Summary
"It is our happiness to join and be joined with," the Seskille Collective says to the crew, the commander, and the captain through the ship’s audio feed, sounding delighted by the prospect of friendship.
"It is our happiness to learn and be learned from," the Seskille Collective says after the unsettling discovery that Seskilles VII is a dead, frozen planet with no plants, no animals, and no life readings but for the landing party sent down to meet them.
"It is our happiness to know and be known by," the Seskille Collective says as they reach out with welcoming voices and devastating minds, indifferent to the consequences of unraveling a lifetime of rigid control and emotional suppression.
"It is our happiness to share and be shared with," the Seskille Collective says, and unravel it they shall, because there is only one aboard the Enterprise capable of giving them what they want, and whether or not he agrees to share in return is irrelevant.
"It is our happiness," they say, again and again, as everything Spock’s worked for falls apart around him.

Summary
“Loki,” Mobius mumbles. He can feel his heartbeat slowing, his pulse growing sluggish. His body just feels frozen solid, now, like he’s surpassed cold and descended into a total lack of feeling.
“No, Mobius— Mobius,” Loki says sharply. “Look at me, look at me! Talk to me, stay awake— Mobius. Mobius!”
Loki sounds panicked, frantic, and Mobius wants to help, but he can’t get his head to lift or his eyes to open. He lets them stay shut; it feels like he’s floating in the frozen darkness. It’s nearly peaceful. He can’t even feel the ground beneath him anymore.
“Mobius,” Loki says again. “I’m right here, I won’t leave you. I won’t go anywhere, I’m here.” His cold lips push to Mobius’ cheek, the corner of his mouth.

Loki has been at this for centuries, reliving the same moments over and over again in a desperate attempt to change the future. He needs a break, just long enough to have a brief mental breakdown over the tragedy that is his life.
He pauses time, but somehow, Mobius finds him anyway. With emotions running high, he says a few things he probably shouldn't. But, in his defense, it's not like Mobius is going to remember that Loki has fallen so hopelessly in love with him.
Except... he does.
