“What do you say we go walk around downtown and then get some crepes?” Dazai changed the topic once they reached the cafe underneath the agency. She wanted to agree instantly, unable to pass the opportunity to get crepes up, especially if she didn’t have to pay, but she only glanced at Dazai instead. She used tremendous willpower to hold her tongue.
“Kunikida-san will be upset,” she said instead.
“Ah, Kunikida doesn’t have to know. It’s on me!”
“Is it your money?” Kyouka asked tonelessly as she pushed open the doors that led out to the street.
“That’s a hurtful assumption, Kyouka-chan,”
