Tim had been on the Aurora for at least a few centuries now, and after the first, when she had spent all her time being mad at Jonny and blowing shit up as a bad coping mechanism, fae had finally talked to the crew about feelings and shit and joined the Bastard Space Polycule. Somehow in all that time, she had never told the crew that fae was genderfluid.
But now, after centuries of trusting these people with - well not really with faer life because of the whole immortality thing, but close enough, she was finally considering it. Considering it didn’t mean actually doing it though, she reckoned that would take at least a few more years. Imagine faer surprise when it only took a few more minutes.

Tim comes out, but not exactly in the circumstances she expected.
