Summary
Before Saparata knew it, a loud thud was banged against the tree once again. This time, the thud source came from Saparata himself. Flux had taken Saparata’s other free hand and bounded them together.
Saparata’s hands are positioned palm-to-palm, with fingers of each hand curled inward slightly as if in a loose fist. The thumbs are facing upward alongside each other, and his wrists are pressed together, bound tightly by one hand from Flux. Making Saparata’s hands immobilized, and the cherry on top is that he dropped his axe on the ground.
Maybe if he used his feet to retrieve it..
Saparata was about to make a move until Flux stepped on his feet, now his feet were also immobilized. Flux kicked away the weapon with his other foot. More sharp and heavy breaths escaped from Saparata, he couldn't do anything. His hands and feet were bound by the man in front of him, the one that has practically taken over his mind whole.

Fluixon has mutated into a vampire, he plummeted into the lava pit below and survived during the war with Infernus, many people say he's still alive—but not enough to cause a worldwide manhunt for him. Saparata is real unfortunate. -

Saparata stood out to Flux because he looked gentle.
A perpetually chill look that clashed heavily with his Luminaran armor and diamond sword. Matched with snowy white hair, pale skin, and warm grey eyes. He looked more like an angel than a soldier.
Flux sometimes felt his eyes wander to that guard on their breaks. Watching him explore their nest of tunnels, watching him kindly unwrap lunch packs for older miners like he was Mother-fucking Teresa.
“You’re staring.” Thomas points out to Flux.
“Am not!”

mm 7.5/10 i dont like how basically flux's whole world is saps, saps this saps that i'd buy anything for saps yada yada also the plot strayed away from the original and became more realistic, im not complaining but tbf finish what you started. also the personality for saps in this is not ideal and would be a better fic if it corresponded to canon saps personality to give it more depth and relatability, i'd say similar to the side characters too like hvy, etc. but yeah tbf its okay i can see why people like it so much, i do really but there's improvements needed 7.5/10

Saparata was hoping for a peaceful night’s sleep after all the hard work and exhaustion he’d endured throughout the entire morning and afternoon. Just as he was about to lie down, incessant knocks on his window caught his attention. Knocks that were all too familiar.
He approached to see who it was—a pale, black-haired figure standing there waiting for him with a smile. Perhaps rest would have to wait for another day, especially with such a special visitor at his window who seemed to need something, even if he didn’t say it out loud.

Summary
His eyes never left Saparata's. There was no pleading or fear in them, nothing that Saps would expect from a man in his position, just level determination, like he was trying to see through Saparata’s eyes into his brain, like he could hear his thoughts if he stared hard enough.
So Saps stared back, unwilling to be the one to back down, to look away. Once, maybe, when they were friends he would have, he would have made some joke to ease the tension and let Fluixon win. But that was a lifetime ago, and he wasn't that person anymore. Neither of them were.

After being on the run for about a year, fate seems to lead Fluixon back to Saps, again. And Saps is a little sick of it. And yet, here he is, insisting he be the one to take Fluixon prisoner. Because really, if anyone kills Flux, it should be him. But does he even want to anymore?
AU where Saps never sends that message to Flux, they never fight in the arena, and Saps has to figure out exactly what rebuilding a life means.

9/10, very long one shot if you reread I recommend to do it with a lot of spare time, I wasn't in a reader's mindset when I read this meaning I just skimmed the parts I thought were fillers, but originally I put off 1 point for the fact I didn't like the way the author described saps and flux (mainly saps though, made him sound like he was mentally crazy and was in a gang) and also because I thought there was alot of filler stuff but yeah pretty good overall, don't be fooled it may technically be a one shot but it could be cut up into like 5 chapters
