Summary
Katsuki Bakugou was kidnapped. The heroes underestimated the League of Villain's strength, forcing a 16 year old to fight alone in a desperate attempt to escape. It wasn't enough.
Having been recaptured by the League, Katsuki anticipated the worst. Torture. Blackmail. Brainwashing.

This is a found family story, except when I say 'found' I mean it in the 'Ah, crap, those assholes found me again' sorta way. So buckle up, because it's going to be one hell of an adventure.

Summary
Malachor tore a rift through the heart of the Ghost crew, taking Hera’s support network with it. So of course she wouldn’t notice Ezra exhibiting peculiar new Force techniques when she’s trying to stay afloat of her own responsibilities, a more demanding task now that the person she used to lean on is hardly present.
While the wider rebellion attempts to uncover mysterious Imperial plans—an objective which overshadows the attack on Lothal’s Imperial factory to Ezra’s growing frustration—a new Grand Admiral enters the picture, and proceeds to outmaneuver Hera’s usual tactics. The more Hera studies Thrawn in order to discover a weakness, the more she realizes an unnerving truth: for as much as she hates what Thrawn stands for, they might not be as different as she first assumed.

Cal's breath caught in his throat. Had the stranger not said it, he would never have guessed.
The first thought that came to mind was how young he seemed. When he'd thought of Skywalker, he'd imagined him as a middle-aged veteran and a seasoned warrior, someone to look up to, who could help show him his place in the galaxy again; not this lanky boy with a careless sort of charm, a small stubble on his chin, constantly hovering between awkwardness and grace, between innocence and wisdom in a way only youth could.
“Cal Kestis,” he replied, holding out a hand and hoping Skywalker hadn't noticed his surprise. “I've been wanting to meet you.”
The boy shook his hand, and Cal tried not to wonder too much about the black glove and the iron grip. A prosthetic, no doubt. He could feel echoes of old pain hidden under the fabric, faded enough to be ignored.
It didn't surprise him, and the story behind it was none of his business. They all had their scars.
