Spring break was not shaping up how it was supposed to. Three murders and a missing best friend who happened to be accused of those murders, did not a good spring break make. And with only a few days left before school started up, Gareth had plans. They weren't grand, but they were plans, nonetheless. None of those plans included spending the weekend at his cousin's house while his mom and sister were out of town for a competition. None of those plans included seening his cousin rush his best friend's body into the house, struggling to keep his guts from falling out.

Summary
The Rebel Alliance has their doomed cause, and now Han Solo has his: Keep Luke Skywalker breathing until he realizes what a karking naïve idiot he is and unquestioningly follows all of Han's advice.
Han Solo is a scoundrel, and a rogue, and a guy who's just trying his best when Luke Skywalker fumbles chest over camtono into his life. Turns out he might sorta love the guy in all the ways there is to love another person, even as they fight a civil war and life and circumstances change both themselves and everything else around.
The problem is that Luke's a little lonely by nature and always on the hunt for love, and Han, who's sworn to protect the kid from both the universe at large and his own efforts toward idiotic martyrdom, doesn't think that there's anybody in the galaxy who's even close to good enough for him. Han's not going to stick his nose into any of Luke's relationships, not if Luke doesn't want him to, but boy howdy do they give him one hell of a headache.
[Or, the 5+1 things fic that spun entirely out of my control, where it's Han, Luke, the five men who loved and lost Luke, and the one he eventually married (spoiler alert: it's not Han), all over the course of 10 years.]

Screamed as his flesh was torn apart, heard Master of Puppets in the distance and held back tears. Felt Max’s cold, small hand in his as she laid in the hospital bed. There are things that always happen, no matter how hard he tries: El doesn’t arrive in time. Eddie dies. Max is put in a coma.
Steve fails. They lose.
“Steve, how many loops have you been through?”
His head is nodding, and his eyes are watery, and Eddie has approached him like a spooked animal.
“I lost count.”
AKA: The one where Steve Harrington is stuck in a time loop, and Eddie Munson is really fucking hard to save, or: fuck Volume 2, these bitches are in love.

“God, Harrington, when did you become such a sap?” Robin asks him, and Steve lightly kicks her ankle even though he knows she’s joking.

They managed to save Max from Vecna at the graveyard(thank God for Kate Bush)but now Steve was displaying all the symptoms of the people who had been cursed so far.
Steve wasn't buying it. He didn't believe that Vecna would just move on like that if he couldn't have Max. And Steve knew that as soon as he admitted he'd been cursed, Max would give him her walkman since it was the only one they had on hand. He wouldn't risk Max like that. Maybe Vecna was trying to fake them out so he could snatch Max away as soon as she gave up her Walkman. Steve didn't know for sure, but he refused to take that chance. She'd been through enough-all the kids had.
If only he'd told Eddie his favorite song when he'd asked.
