“—Friends call you MJ. Right, sorry, I knew that.” She’ll give the teenager some credit, she does look slightly sheepish about it.
“What do you want, Jean?”
“I can help you remember.”

Or, while Peter is in critical condition in hospital, MJ is visited once again by Jean Grey. Unlike the last time, however, the teenager offers her something she doesn’t know if she is brave enough to face: Her best and only chance of learning everything she would want and need to know about her past with one Peter Parker.

When they offer you the money to break up with me – and rest assured, throwing money at problems is their only way of handling anything – you will take it. I shall be horribly heartbroken to make them feel guilty and any subsequent romantic partner who is a bit more... mellow than you will be quite welcome.”
Charles stared at him, unsure of how he could’ve ever thought of Edwin Payne as innocent. “Damn... you are a conniving little bastard, aren’t you?”-
Charles Rowland's first impression of Edwin Payne can be summerized as privileged, rich and aloof – also incredibly pretty, but that’s besides the point. However, when Edwin presents him with a scheme to piss off his conservative parents and get some money out of them in the process, Charles can’t resist the siren call of causing mayham for some Tories.

“Well now I feel old,” he declared melodramatically. “I'm fifteen, and you made me feel old.”
“Imagine how I feel whenever you open your mouth,” Tony grumbled, and Peter realized his comms were still open to the rest of the Avengers.
“Ha,” Clint crowed. “Imagine how Steve feels.”
The aforementioned man sighed. “Can you all focus, please?”
They did not.
Karen piped up again. “In all fairness, Peter, I am only a year old.”
“Wow, a year old and speaking full grammatical sentences already,'' Peter praised. “You’re a child prodigy, K.”

Elphaba’s melting shadow had been wearing the hat. Glinda wasn’t sure of the scientification of melting, but surely either all or none of her clothes should have melted. Surely Elphaba herself shouldn’t have melted. Fiyero’s body was missing, and Elphaba’s hat was in her hands.
Glinda stared at herself in the mirror. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she realized she must have been crying. She looked crazy. It didn’t matter.
