Merlin/Back to the Future Fusion AU: Word got out to the wrong people that genius inventors Merlin and Arthur were making a time machine. Arthur was going to propose to him that night. But Merlin watched him die. He’d escaped, hoping to go back three years into the past to kill the foreign smugglers they never should have trusted. But then everything went wrong, and Merlin swore Arthur wasn’t wearing chainmail the last time he’d seen him. Or had blonde hair, for another thing.

Merlin AU. Arthur and Merlin met in grade school and have been best friends ever since. But what if Merlin's never thought of Arthur as only his best friend? Merlin thought that his crush on Arthur would have disappeared by the end of high school, definitely by the end of uni, but Merlin realised sometime during those years that what he felt was no longer a mere crush. Merlin has resigned himself to the fact that they will never be anything more but he can't help the flicker of longing that pulls at him sometimes.

Summary
The castle and all it's inhabitants are put under a sleep spell that the sorceress Nimueh claimed could only be lifted when the true king of Camelot could accept Magic as an equal. Though when asleep Arthur's dreams were not entirely his own.
Two years after this day a baby is born, a child of magic that would in time come to be the answer to all of Arthur's questions. As the child grew his days were filled with farm work and chores but his nights belonged to one man, Arthur. The literal man of Merlin's dreams. Every night when he fell asleep it would only be to wake up on a shore with Arthur, the man never aged or changed and was as constant in Merlin's life as his own magic.
Merlin must travel to Camelot and discover his destiny, finding a way to wake Arthur and save Camelot from the tainted magic that holds it in it's grasp. Summary

Summary
Arthur has wanted Merlin for a long time but never acts upon it because Merlin is innocent and his best friend and he doesn't want to ruin that. One night Arthur saves Merlin from being raped by The Horned God and challenges him for Merlin. The Horned God brands Merlin with a magical brand which will only get removed if he is defeated. Arthur has 30 days to prepare for the fight at the White Tree on Beltane. Uther sends for an old friend of his to help train Arthur. Sir Kay is about 5 years younger than Uther's age in this story. There is attempted rape in this story in the very beginning.
Also I updated some of the beginning chapters.
Sir Kay Looks like the guy who played him in the tv show Camelot from Starz, only older.

Summary
Merlin has the world on his shoulders and being Arthur's Manservant is not the easiest job. He's got so much going on he doesn't notice the little things and that drives Arthur mad with want. When Uther witnesses a moment between them he's more than grateful for the King laying down the law on Arthur. A romantic involvement with Arthur is the last thing he needs, really!
Arthur has other plans as he is certain Merlin is attracted to him. He's decided that Merlin is going to be his one way or another.
Unfortunately Merlin is entirely oblivious and naive to Arthur's manipulations. He wants to believe the best in the man he idolizes. He certainly doesn't want to believe that Arthur maneuvered them into a situation he can't get out of on purpose. Arthur couldn't be that much of a Prat. Arthur realizes too late what he has done and can't bring himself to tell Merlin the truth. If he tells Merlin the truth, he'll lose his trust and love forever.
Will Arthur redeem himself? Will Merlin realize he actually wants a relationship with Arthur on top of everything else? Will Merlin forgive Arthur when he finds out what the man did?
