“You ain’t getting bailed out. But nobody fucking bails on me, got it?”
The way Bakugou pokes his chopsticks towards the bars would be intimidating if his hair wasn’t ruffled and he hadn’t gone out of his way to be here. It’s getting close to midnight now - he could be anywhere else, he could be asleep at home. But regardless, he has chosen to be here.
It's terrifying, when one person becomes the answer to every question.

Sero has the advantage of height, so he’s easily able to see their work. He moves both his hands down the other boys’ arms until reaching his wrists, which he grips and tugs. He moves Todoroki’s hands back into the water and then to one of the awaiting cups. He helps with his one hand to keep the object still as Todoroki covers it with soap.
“Are you sure this is how you wash dishes?” Todoroki’s voice comes almost as a whisper, but loud enough to break their little bubble.
“Who do you think you’re asking? I’ve been washing dishes for years. I know what I’m talking about.” He tilts his head slightly and is able to feel the way Todoroki’s cheek moves as he smiles and snorts.
“Uh huh, sorry for doubting you.”

Shouto was aware of heat, and then he saw fire roaring from his body as he slammed his left fist into the metal, again, again, screaming as his bones crunched. The door shifted, vicious grating noise echoing through the stairwell, until finally, finally, it gave way, heated metal flying from the frame. Shouto fell to his hands and knees, crying so hard he felt like he'd throw up. But he only stayed down for a second. Sucking in a last deep breath, Shouto wrenched himself up and ran, feet flying over the concrete, across the rooftop, until he skidded to a sharp, unsteady halt at the edge, his chest laboring, the asphalt of the Heights Alliance parking lot staring up at him from five stories below.
OR
Shouto Todoroki decides to take his own life by jumping off of the Heights Alliance roof, and everyone is left shattered in the aftermath. So, all the people in Shouto's life go out of their way to show him just how much he's loved.

Struggling to navigate and understand the new world she lives in from the confines of her room (and her therapist's office) at the psychiatric hospital, she starts to disentangle her father's worldview from her own and work towards a healthier self-image, sorting out her relationships with family and friends along the way.
Basically - Azula gets the redemption arc (and the therapy!! and the older brother!!) she's always deserved with some Zukka thrown in as a bonus bc I'm nothing if not self-indulgent.
