Summary
The eight boys have been frequenting the café for years, since about two weeks after she started working there. They’re really not too much of a disruption— they’re loud, sure, but the other regulars are so used to them that their boisterous voices and big gestures only bring joy. She and the rest of the staff have each of their orders memorized, all of their quirks kept in mind for ease of interaction. The large table is set aside for them at the same time each Sunday.
She thinks seeing them is her favorite part of every week.

Summary
“Who’s this… Luo Binghe?” Shen Yuan interrupts. Ning Yingying and Ming Fan stare at him in shock for a moment, before they remember his supposed memory loss. Ming Fan draws himself up to speak, but before he can utter a sound, Ning Yingying jumps forward.
“A-Luo is really nice! He comes by the kitchens a lot when he’s working, and the food he cooks always looks delicious—”
“That’s not important,” Ming Fan growls, “that’s not what Er-gongzi asked! And don’t lie, that little beast—”
“He’s not a beast!”
“Enough,” Shen Yuan snaps, and they fall silent. He lets a few seconds pass before he asks again: “Who’s Luo Binghe?”
Ning Yingying squirms. “... A-Luo is Er-gongzi’s step-brother,” she says nervously. When she sees his look of wide-eyed disbelief, she continues, “Master Shen married his mother a few years ago, but she died almost right away, so he’s kind of… a servant, now.”
…Oh. Oh no. Shen Yuan thinks he knows exactly where he is.

Felix had flung the window open ten minutes ago, thinking it’ll make the lack of air conditioning in their shared hotel room more bearable. Jisung had thought the plan ingenious, but the absolute humidity that had rolled into the room over the course of ten minutes was insane. Despite the air temperature genuinely being colder outside, the sticky air weighed down his skin and clung, cloying, to his nose, his teeth, all the way down his throat. It filled his lungs with heat and made it harder to breathe, until he could do nothing but lay with his back on the tile floor, head empty, as if the moisture in the air had decided to burrow its way into his brain and give it a warm, clean sponge bath.
