Summary
What is supposed to be a relaxing weekend in the mountains turns into a nightmare for Tony, Pepper and Peter. All Peter had wanted to do was hang out with Mr. and Mrs. Stark and see all the changing leaves, bright with fall colors. He'd been looking forward to heavy rock music, joking around with Mr. Stark, and getting out of the city. They had all been looking forward to time away. After the car crash and being stranded on a remote road, all they can do is think of getting back… of staying alive and getting help. (The summary sounds way more angsty than the story actually is).
OR
After a car crash, all three of them are hurt, but Pepper and Peter can't walk out of the wilderness, so Tony has to leave them behind to get help. Peter and Pepper wait and keep each other company. (Has a happy ending)! The story responds to prompts for Sicktember 2024, Cozytober 2024, Whumptober 2024, and the Whumperless Whump 2024 event.

It's been two months since Peter last saw him… since they fought. It's been two months since he stormed out of the lab and Mr. Stark told him that he shouldn't come back. Peter is sixteen, he's old enough to stay home alone while May is out of town, even if that's not his aunt's first choice. It's ok though, because Peter has this. He can do this, no problem. Everything is fine. Then the power goes out and along with it the heat. Still, he's fine. It's all good. He'll just bundle up and wear extra layers, and wrap himself up in a blanket. And then there's a burglary in the building. It's no problem because he's Spider Man. Except it is a problem because the burglar was trying to get into his apartment and now the door knob is broken, and he can't lock the door and he's completely freaked out! Dark apartment, no lock on the door, and oh yeah, he's shaking. And he still has two more nights on his own without May. Not knowing where else to go, he goes to Stark Tower to find Tony.

He thinks there's probably two or three wedged between the cushions of his and May's couch. Maybe there are a couple under the cushions of the couch in the penthouse too.

There's one absolute truth about Peter Benjamin Parker: he messes things up. Ned says it's not true, and MJ has told him he's stupid for believing that, but Peter has proof. Whenever he has something good going for him, it's either taken from him, or he ends up giving it up by means of his own stupidity: case in point, it's almost Christmas and he doesn't have a soul to spend it with. He's been alone for months, and it's all his fault.

Several months ago, Peter got angry at Tony, and then ran away. Now it's just days until Christmas and Peter is cold, soaking wet from the snow, and feeling completely alone in the world. He shows up to the tower to find Tony having a small Christmas gathering with friends. Peter isn't sure if he's welcome or not. Angst with a side of Christmas and family feels.

Summary
After Tony collapses right in front of Steve after two days straight of working and fighting, Peter tells Steve that he's kind of a jerk. That's surprising to hear coming from the normally sweet kid that works with Tony in the lab, but also completely disconcerting, because what comes along with that statement is a disappointed look and tone. "He's not superhuman you know. What I want to know is why you seem to want to take good care of everyone else, even people not on your team, but not him. It's like he's the only person on the planet you don't care about."
Steve can't say that Peter is wrong. He messed up, and now he needs to fix it, for Tony, and for the team.
OR
Steve realizes some things about Tony that he hadn't before. Steve's POV, minor angst, minor fluff, and team as family. Steve is not a bad guy in this fic.

"I told you to keep your hands to yourself."

It's just a few days to Christmas when Howard Stark is sucked into a lamp and re-appears in 2017 to find out that his adult son is not at all the disappointment he expected him to be.

Summary
Tony can handle stress. That doesn't mean he wants to. A little stress pushes him into his lab to work on projects. Mild stress makes him start to push back and resist. Total stress makes him shut down, utterly and completely. Before he gets to that point where he shuts down, 100 percent, all stop, do not pass go, he disappears. He packs up and leaves town and disappears for days or even weeks at a time, shutting down his cell phone and not responding to anyone or anything. Pepper does all she can to make sure that doesn't happen, but when Steve stresses Tony out and things are piling up at work, Tony takes off and he takes Peter with him.
OR
Iron Dad and Iron Fam fluff with minor Avengers angst.

“That’s not an intruder, it’s Peter. What’s wrong with you? Lower that thing before somebody gets hurt.”
“I’ve never seen this kid before. How'd he slip past security?"
"This is Peter Parker Stark, your son. You adopted him."
“I adopted some random kid?”
Peter’s breath hitches and his shoulders fall. He wants to press his face into Happy’s back and cry. “Not some random kid,” Happy says, voice hard. “Your kid. Peter.”
OR
Tony spent five years mourning Peter after he'd been snapped. He'd invented time travel to bring him back, almost died, had risked everything for him. When Peter is snapped back to life, he can't believe that the Starks actually want him to be part of their family. He spends six months doubting it. He's finally starting to believe that they want and love him when he wakes up one morning and comes out of his room to find that Tony and Pepper don't remember him at all, even though everyone else does.
