Summary
When Viktor finally asks why Jayce stayed behind inside the Anomaly with him, Jayce stares at him as though he’s supremely disappointed by the question— as if Viktor has betrayed his own brilliance by asking something so irredeemably stupid. “How could I not? We’re partners.”
Partners, Jayce calls them. Not for the first time, Viktor wonders: Partners in what?
*
Or: Jayce and Viktor survive the Hexcore, a blizzard, their own bodies, sharing a bed and all the things they’re too afraid to say. Slowly, they put themselves back together— piece by stubborn piece.

Summary
What has Viktor done to deserve this? At what point did Jayce come to value him so highly? Somehow, this bond of theirs grew so gradually, so subtly, escaping Viktor’s notice as it entwined itself into every facet of their lives, strangling all else with its roots until only its verdant bloom remained.
“Let me go, Jayce.”
The grip on him tightens. “I won’t.”
No. He’s made that quite clear. Viktor lacks the strength to shake him off; if he tried, Jayce would surely release him, but to rob Jayce of his sole source of comfort would not be right, nor good, and so Viktor waits. A minute passes, then two, then four.
The rune swallows them up, and abandons them in an unfamiliar land. Is this not what they wanted? With naught but the clothes on their backs, they are left to wander. To wonder.

Summary
Lucanis Dellamorte was given a contract : find the kidnapped wife of a powerful Magister, kill her abductor, and bring her back to Tevinter.
Simple enough. Or it would be, if only the abductor in question wasn't Emmrich Volkarin and the wife in question, who goes by Rook now, wasn't terrified of going back to her husband.... and if only Lucanis hadn't been betrayed by one of his own.
---------------------
This started as a fill for the DAK asking for Lucanis to have a contract on Emmrich before the start of the game. It derailed from there, and now it's a multichapters story that goes into the events of the game itself.
Will eventually be Lucanis/Emmrich/Rook.

Summary
After 'The Outcast Incident’ of 2279, The Lone Wanderer disappears. Some people believe he died, some think he went on to ‘fight the good fight’ somewhere else, others still, wonder if The Lone Wanderer ever existed at all. Like most things, the truth is somewhere in between.
When Deacon arrives in the Commonwealth in 2282, he firmly believes he's given up his mantle of 'The Lone Wanderer' and wants nothing to do with his old life. He's content to lend his aid to The Railroad and through them, the people of the 'Wealth. However, as the years draw closer and closer to that fateful 2287 and the turmoil of the Commonwealth becomes impossible to avoid, Deacon will reluctantly realize that The Lone Wanderer isn't a piece of himself that he can shove in a box and ignore.
It's who he is; above all else.

Spiritual Successor to "It Came From the Vents." Gordon Freeman has spent three years trying to stabilize the AIs he befriended after a disastrous end to a military project. He's stolen company property, ignored his family, and neglected himself in hopes of success. Now that he's made progress, it's becoming increasingly apparent that one of the AIs in question may not be a program at all. No one can say for certain what this revelation will lead to, but one thing's for sure: HR is going to have a field day with this one.

Bookmarker's Notes
A story so jam-packed with action and intrigue, Human Resources Violation is guaranteed to keep the reader captivated far after they’ve finished reading the fic.
The characterizations are flawless and complex, bringing a real edge of seriousness and danger to the otherwise silly source material. Expounding on canon and taking and modifying concepts from the source material in brilliant and unique ways, this story is guaranteed to impress you with the sheer breadth of its scope and how wonderfully it payed off.
Literally everything you could want if you loved HLVRAI but wished it had a bit more drama, angst, and stakes.
Oh, also Eldritch Abomination Benry. Because who doesn’t want that? -

Summary
Jaskier feels the sun of Aen Seidhe on his face for the first time in four years and his mind snaps open.
Time drops. There is grass between his bare toes. The heat of the day, sun high in the sky, is real and blistering. It rushes his face, neck, curls up in his nose and mouth. Somewhere behind him, the sound of an ocean.
Breath stuttering, heart one long, silent pause, Jaskier reaches out- and falls to his knees. It’s real. It’s real.
_
Or, I wanted to write a fun little au where Jaskier spent some time in the faerie world as a child, only to realize that the wild hunt already existed in universe, and that not only did it exist but the plot of the entire third game hinges upon it. Yes, I will be using the plot of the third game. It's still the wild hunt, but make it fashion, because im just not goth like that.Series

“The Witcher believes you’re under a spell,” Yennefer said, conversationally, drawing a sip from her tea.
“I most certainly am,” said Jaskier to her in a warm drawl that Geralt recognized as the tone of voice he slipped into when flirting and frankly, things needed to start making more sense and fast before he gave into his impulse to do something rash and wholly unhelpful. Namely, chuck himself out the cottage window and into the sea.
--
Or Geralt seeks out Yennefer only to find her, of all unbelievable and ridiculous things, shacking up with his bard.

Summary
Geralt barely managed to slam the pommel of his sword up in a glancing blow that shattered the metal latch holding the Soldier’s mask in place. The Soldier rolled into the movement with a dancer’s grace and came to his full height just as easily. For a moment, his hands reached up to run over the exposed skin, before he slowly turned to face Geralt once more.
The Witcher froze in a mixture of horror and near-frantic hope.
He stared into the eyes of a dead man and whispered, “Jaskier?”
The Soldi--the bard frowned at him in confusion and spoke with a voice rough with disuse,
“Who the hell is Jaskier?”

Summary
“So do you have a name?”
“Yeah.” The man who had saved his life less than an hour ago – the white-haired, absurdly buff, weirdly sexy man Jaskier might have called taciturn if he was feeling charitable and surly if he was feeling less so – dug into his second burger.
Jaskier waited. “Are… you going to tell me what it is?”
The man paused mid-bite, and looked at him reproachfully as if to say how dare you. How dare you interrupt me. Can’t you see I’m enjoying my cheeseburger. Can’t you see this cheeseburger is the most important thing in my life right at the moment. He swallowed, and said, “Geralt.”
It turns out almost getting eaten by a werewolf can make your whole life go careening off in a new, terrifying, wondrous, artistically flourishing direction. Who knew?

Summary
The crowd parts for Jaskier. He’s positively beaming, cradling his lute, the damn lute that has a scratch along the body from when Jaskier used it to bash a drowner in the face, when Geralt wasn’t close and fast and careful enough that one time.
Everything else about him is new and lavish and the filigree necklace resting on his collarbones catches the light.
He looks so at home at the center of attention, with the people chanting for him like a victorious general returning from battle. Even the royal couple is applauding much louder than etikett demands, the princesses clapping enthusiastically.
And this, this is how it should have been all along, this is what Jaskier deserves. Pride and shame wash over Geralt, so proud of the artistic genius finally fucking appreciated as it should be. And ashamed because he has no right to that pride anymore./

Summary
When she saw Poe brush some of her hair from her eyes, surveying the blood crusted down the side of her face and trying to work out how much of it was hers, she crumbled. Finn's arm slipped back around her waist, more carefully this time, and the look he exchanged with Poe made Rey's heart ache. She attempted to lie to them for a second time, but her words caught in her throat and she couldn't think of anything to say, because it was blatantly obvious that she was falling to pieces, and nothing she did could stop them from seeing it. The atmosphere around them was jubilant, the celebrations had already started, and yet she couldn’t even manage a smile.
Her fingers tangled in Finn's jacket, and she didn't let go.

Summary
Or, five times Jon makes Martin a promise, and one time he keeps it.
---
"Normally, in a situation like this, I'd advise you to split up, travel separately," says Basira. Before either of them have a chance to argue, she holds up a hand. "But for obvious reasons, that's a terrible idea right now. So. Keep an eye on each other. Don't make any scenes. Don't go off alone, and don't let each other go off alone." Her voice goes wobbly again at the end of that sentence.
Jon nods seriously and glances up at Martin, whose face is pink. He can't seem to decide whether to meet Jon's eye or look at the floor. "We won't," says Jon, and his words have the weight of a promise. "We'll stay together."
