Bruce shook himself off like a dog, earning a groan and playful kick from Clark who still hadn't moved from lying on the bank of the river. The cowboy grinned.
"Don't start a fight you can't win, Clark," The older teased, pulling his jeans on.
"Just get yourself decent and to the barn, Cowboy," Clark groaned out, stretching his arms above his head.
Bruce didn't really know what came over him, as he jumped onto Clark straddling him and tickling him whilst his arms were up in their stretch.
Clark shrieked and swore, bucking like a bull to get Bruce off of him. Clark, seeing his opportunity with Bruce being shirtless, managed to snake his arm around to pinch Bruce's pectoral muscles, finally rolling away when the cowboy jumped in surprise.
"You are screwed now--" Clark began as he scrambled to his feet.
Bruce didn't share this same excitement, staring up at Clark's face with disbelief.
"--Clark who and what the fuck happened to you?"

The sky is dark and gloomy, clouds blocking out the very little moonlight. Clark thinks it's raining, but he can’t feel anything. The city is dark, barely a streetlight on. This can’t be Metropolis, the city that never sleeps. The architecture isn’t anything like Metropolis’ either. Clark can’t remember the last time he’s seen a gargoyle. This must be Gotham. The still moment is interrupted when Clark hears a click behind him and turns to face the sound.
Standing there is a man, or at least Clark assumes it’s a man, dressed in all black. None of its features are discernable, only the white lenses that would be its eyes and what look like pointed ears on the top of its head. Clark squints, trying to get a better look at the man, but it never comes. Everything seems to be blurring together. Is this even a man? Maybe it’s a shadow. All of a sudden, the shadow rushes towards him and all he can see is black.
Or: A story in which Clark Kent keeps being visited by the one they call "Bat-Man" in his dreams.

Earth must learn to co-habitate with these new 'aliens' in their solar system. The Kryptonians must learn to control and not monopolise their extreme strength. What better way to do this then to arrange a marriage between the youngest surviving member of the Kryptonians, and the easily-controlled Gothamite billionaire play-boy.

Clark had a child forced onto him, leaving that pup behind was the hardest choice he ever had to make. At the time it had felt like the only way to hold onto his sanity.
It's hard to trust an Alpha again after such an event, even one as kind and considerate as Bruce has been all these years.Jason, Bruce's pup, knows himself what that kind of broken trust can do to a person. He almost seems to be able to smell it off him.
