Anxiety crept up in his chest despite his best efforts to fight it. “Whatcha doing, man?” He asked, trying not to sound nervous. His attempt proved unsuccessful.
Quackity made a face that Sapnap was sure translated to are you kidding me, dude - eyebrows raised, frowning. They made unblinking eye contact for what felt like years until Quackity finally decided to speak.
“What’s it look like I’m fucking doing?”
And Sapnap knew exactly what it looked like, but he was too concerned about Quackity’s knees on the concrete and potential passersby to admit it.
