This first part of HRWB is all about setting a ton of stuff up for future parts, so like what everyones deal is, getting arcs sorted, me getting into the swing of writing, etc. I will admit the first two and half chapters are pretty vanilla BUT past that I start doing my own thing. There IS some important stuff in the first two chapters, and if you want a longer read, go for it. Otherwise, I hope you enjoy!
Also, because most of HRWB was thought of and (kind-of) planned out BEFORE Deltarune Chapters 3 and 4, anything new introduced in the game probably won't turn up in HRWB, unless it doesn't clash with anything (like how the church looks).

After Garou was defeated by Saitama and bore witness to the death of Tareo, he sacrificed his life to undo the damage he'd inflicted upon the world. In that moment however, God stripped him of both his powers and his life, turning the hero hunter to salt, but Saitama would persevere and undo the actions of Garou's cosmic fear form, and the hunter would see Tareo one last time before his soul fade into the aether... Only for another deity to snatch up his soul and offer him a second chance in another world of heroes.
So I thought of this at like 2 in the morning and wrote a bunch of notes and I'm surprised no one else had done it. The only other 2 fics I can think of that did something similar are 'Perseverance' and 'A Hunter Amongst Heroes'.
I don't own anything, not the cover, not One Punch Man, and especially not My Hero Academia.

“Mr.Strange… ” Peter had a sympathetic look in his eyes and Strange hated it. It wasn’t his life that was being destroyed, so why was Peter looking at him like the victim.
“Listen, I can send you somewhere there is no Peter Parker. There are an infinite number of universes, I can find one.” Strange said, more to himself than to Peter. And he knew this was dark magic, he knew he shouldn’t, but he didn’t care.
“I’ll send you there. Until I can fix this. Until I can bring you back.”
Or: Dr. Strange sends Peter to an alt universe where there are no Avengers, but they do have a thing called a Justice League. And sure Peter is homeless, but that doesn't stop him from being Spider-Man.

And while Peter was really hoping he could go to another dimension to visit Peter 2 and Peter 3, or just any other Peter at that point, this sort of dimensional travel isn't exactly what he was hoping for. With just Karen at his side, Peter crash lands (literally) into Gotham and has to learn to survive there as both Peter and Spider-Man with the help of a few Bats and Birds and a very nice blonde that reminds him a little too much of Ned.

The story follows a 17 year old Peter Parker after the events in Spiderman: No Way Home. Peter thought that the only thing that was going to happen to him after Strange’s spell was for everyone to forget who he was. Instead, he finds himself in a city he’s pretty sure never existed, with vigilantes he never heard of, in a completely different dimension entirely. As if that isn’t any worse, his memories of the spell are fuzzy and oh, he’s also laying naked on a table about to scare the living hell out of this poor mortician when he wakes up.
