Summary
"What, still in the closet?" The question slips out, even as alarm bells start blaring in his head—
In a second, Sullivan is before him, crowding him against the wall. To anyone else, the scene might look ordinary, two guys about to kiss in a shadowy corner of a bar, but Cameron knows. Knows the anger in Sullivan’s eyes. The fear. Unfortunately for Sullivan, he’s no longer the weak little boy he was a decade ago.
He’s a fucking Marine now.
Cameron and Sullivan meet again, fourteen years later.

Summary
You say, “get out of here, Recruit,” as mean as you can, as unfriendly as you can make it. The kind of voice that makes other recruits just about piss their pants.
Cope just looks at you, all the way from the door. A tin cup between his hands. In five small, carefully balanced steps, he crosses the room to you. He puts the cup down on the desk, beside your left wrist. “Dismissed, Cope,” you say through your teeth. He turns silently on his heel and leaves. He leaves the door open, so you can hear them cheering for him.
Someone jokes that he’s survived the dragons den, and you wonder if they know.
After a moment, you pick up the cup. It’s half full of whiskey, strong as a memory. Out there, the recruits start singing Bohemian Rhapsody, and you are elsewhere, remembering Maitra’s eyes that day when he’d called Wilkinson a faggot. The way he’d looked at you, your hands still over the pieces of your disassembled rifle, a song still on your lips, and he’d known—or, you’d known that he suspected.
You put your lips to the edge of the cup, imagining Copes mouth on the metal, and sip slowly, like it’s something else you’re tasting.
Again, you are wanting something you don’t deserve to have.

Summary
Flying back to Cherry Street, weaving reckless in the dark, it comes down to this: Dick is the only one of his siblings that Jason has any real claim on. Dick is the only one of that whole mess of victims to Batman's cult of self-immolation who belongs to Jason. Even more than that - Dick is the only person in the world who he shares a parent with, who knows what it meant to be the Robin to Batman of nearly ten years ago.
It's just not the same anymore.
So if Dick fucking kicks it, Jason's the only one left. Jason becomes an only child. Jason becomes the last of his kind. Jason becomes the sole keeper of that memory, of a brotherhood shared under a man who no longer exists. There is no way to replace Dick, because the world that they lived in together is gone, and can never give Jason a surrogate.
The Red Hood pulls the thread on a mystery big enough to bridge the distance between two cities, two brothers: The plot they unravel is far deeper and darker than a garden-variety drug trafficking scheme. A story about siblingship, hauntings, and rivers.
1. Ostium, osti(i): Latin noun, II Declension: Door, opening; (river) mouth; entrance (to the underworld).

Summary
After Arthur disobeyed his father and retrieved the Mortaeus flower for Merlin's cure, Arthur's frantic pleading to save Merlin led to a misunderstanding that actually convinced Uther to take the flower to Gaius.
Now all Arthur has to do is explain to Merlin why Uther thinks they are lovers.
And while Uther is supportive of the relationship, he requires it kept secret. But in his paranoia, Uther misinterprets every innocent interaction between the two as something far more intimate, to the embarrassment of everyone involved.
And then the knights begin showing up...
