After their fight over Holy Water, Crowley disappeared for the rest of the century. At least that's what it appeared like to Aziraphale. Unbeknownst to him, Crowley got up around the late 1880s and, by chance, saw Aziraphale walk into a particular gentlemen's club. He was not particularly pleased with the scene he witnessed, taking their already slow burn farther back again...

Summary
The Bentley roars to life of its own accord and, sensing what is afoot, immediately starts in the direction of Aziraphale’s shop but refuses to move faster than 70 miles per hour. Aziraphale pats the seat appreciatively while Crowley grits his teeth and glares at the steering wheel.
“At least someone can appreciate a little patience.” Aziraphale snaps, not a little smugly. Crowley ignores him and stares at the road as if the Bentley weren’t the one in charge right now. “A lesson you could stand to learn.” Aziraphale takes a deep breath and relaxes entirely into the role he knows Crowley is anticipating. Aching for even. He turns to the demon, voice calm and firm. “Speaking of lessons, I’ve been terribly disappointed in your behavior today.” Crowley finally glances toward Aziraphale but doesn’t let their gaze meet, eyes cast downward instead. “I think you need to be reminded how to behave properly. Don’t you agree?”

We don’t know what shape these folks are in.” He finally sets his gaze squarely on Aziraphale, his eyes flick to the lens of his camera and back up again. “Stay out of the way.”
Aziraphale packs his camera gear and heads to the Rocky Mountains to film with an elite search and rescue team. Turns out the terrain isn't his only challenge.

When Crowley had snaked himself across the bar top, half purring, half snarling for Aziraphale to live a little, this wasn’t exactly what he meant by it. Not exclusively, anyway. If there was a list of possibilities, it may have been on there somewhere; scrawled as a hasty afterthought, perhaps under a subheading of Things That Would Surely Never Actually Happen.
But the sight of Aziraphale lying naked and debauched in the middle of his black satin sheets was not something he was about to hesitate over.
(If there was a second list, one surreptitiously scribbled on a napkin in the dark corner of a crowded bar, it would be titled Things Crowley Had No Right To Crave As Much As He Did, and it would start and end with this single bullet point)

Aziraphale and Crowley have averted the Second Coming and are trying to pick-up the pieces of their relationship when Aziraphale becomes plagued by nightmares. While Crowley tries to comfort him, Aziraphale is not honest about what-or who-he sees in his dreams.

Over the weeks the dreams occurred nearly nightly. He was always in ‘Eden’. He was never alone. There was always another, an angel, just out of reach, out of sight.
Aziraphale spent the nights chasing the angel, reaching to grasp his hand or robe or wing. He ran after him praying for a glimpse of him. But the angel eluded him, stubbornly hidden, always just out of reach. Aziraphale could not say the color of his eyes or hair, could not describe his height nor frame, yet the timbre of his voice, the rumble of his laughter, the tenderness of his embrace was etched on Aziraphale’s bones. He knew his companion—No. If he were honest with himself Aziraphale knew this angel was more than a companion. The angel was Aziraphale’s partner, ever present, never seen, always felt. He knew this angel in every way that mattered.
The angel was the source of the joy in ‘Eden’.
He was also the reason Aziraphale’s dreams ended in despair.
