Compress tilted his head. “That’s… surprisingly insightful, Toga.”
Toga stuck her tongue out at him, but her usual exuberance was subdued.
Compress continued: “Collapse is a good word for all of us lately.”
Toga sighed. “Animals can just snap out of it. They run around for a little while, then they’re back to normal. Lucky them.”

Akutagawa was an independent worker. he had never chosen to work with a team, and he was very confidant that given the choice, the Armed Detective Agency wouldn't have worked with him either. They didn't have any sort of obligation to him, just like he had none to them. That didn't mean it doesn't sting when they ignore his injuries in favor of someone else's though, just because they were a bit worse.
OR
The five times Akutagawa's injuries were ignored because someone else's were worse, and the one time someone realized just how bad things were.

“Megumi what the fuck?” Nobara scolded, repeatedly hitting Megumi in the head as Ozawa looked between him and Itadori with widened eyes as if she was seeing him again for the very first time.
Or Nobara asks for Megumi's help to set up Itadori with an old classmate. Megumi hates every second of it.

______Itadori looked up at the sign above the small shop on the street corner, Moonflower, he never thought that much about flowers but Junpei said that he should get some to congratulate Nobara and Maki moving into their new apartment. He sighed before walking up to the door and pushing it open. The soft chime announced his entrance and he was instantly greeted to the sight of blooming flowers all around him. The colors popped out of their shelves and the floral scent was calming if not a smidge nauseating.
“Welcome in.” A monotone voice carried throughout the store and Itadori searched for the source of the sound.
He noticed someone standing with his back to him, his black hair was the first thing that stood out to him before the man turned to face him, seemingly working with some flowers on the counter behind the register.

To think that there’s a gifted in this world who can transport others to a ‘Hell.’ Not even a particularly hellish hell. For all Akutagawa had experienced in his life, this is obnoxiously tame.
Pleasant, even, if he was to ignore the centaurs hunting him for sport and the fact that he’s kneeling in an open grave.
Still - if Akutagawa was given such an ability, he’d have no shortage of significantly more creative punishments for creatures as loathsome as himself.
Akutagawa goes to Hell. Atsushi follows. Neither return the same.

Sukuna smirks, gulping down as the numbness in his legs continues to spread. Megumi's becoming just a sharp blur of black and white, a drop of paint on rice paper. He's running out of time.
"This is my hell, right here. Make me one of your shikigami, Megumi Fushiguro."
The sorcerer frowns. Sukuna can't see anything more specific on his expression because of his fucked up sight, but he doesn't doubt it's something grandiose. If he had to guess, Megumi looks like the muscles in his face dried up like stale passionfruit.
"You have terrible taste for jokes."
"You're right," Sukuna admits, "But I'm not joking."

It wasn’t a hard curse at all, something to make sure that everyone’s skills didn’t become rusty, and to keep teamwork up. It wasn’t a long fight either, just particularly annoying for Megumi’s current situation.
